Applinger Farm — Hotel in Ashland

This was our 2nd stay at Applinger Farm and it was even better than the first! My husband and I stayed 4 days at Christmas and everything was perfect! The Orchard Suite was immaculate (as usual) and Lisa went all out to decorate it for Christmas!- Christmas sheets & pillows, and a mini tree all lit up when we arrived! As always, there were extra touches such as basket of snacks to enjoy and special soaps in the bathroom.

A huge blessing was it snowed and the farm looked just like a Christmas card!

We really enjoyed watching & feeding the horses and visiting with Polly (the polydactyl cat!) We also brought our cat along again and out of all the various places we’ve stayed, she likes the Orchard Suite the best. She is very shy and skittish, but for some reason she is very comfortable there! She is getting old and is our only pet now, so it is nice to not have to worry about leaving her home alone until a pet sitter comes by for a little while.

The hot tub is a great upscale amenity, and even though it was cold and raining, the water was just the right temp to keep warm and relax in!

I also booked another appointment w/Lisa for a haircut and color while we were there which is another bonus! She is not only an excellent hostess, but an excellent hairstylist!!!

Lisa and John are exceptional hosts that go above and beyond any online rental we’ve stayed at. They make the surroundings at Applinger Farm a comfortable, peaceful place to completely unwind. It is so beautiful and relaxing at the farm that we plan to stay for several days at least...

Wonderful little gem off the hwy. Lisa and John are so accommodating and helpful. We’ve stayed here multiple times and when you do you must ask John if he has made any new birdhouses!

Comfy King bed, super clean and safe. Plus extra bonus of feeding the horses and soaking on spa after a long drive. A fridge, microwave, sweet treats and tea ta’boot!

We always make sure to get our fresh caffeine kick from Ohana Coffee Co before...

Beautiful, peaceful, extremely hospitable, wonderful place to stay. You feel secluded in nature yet the city is minutes away. Perfect! Highly recommend! Will be back! Amazing perks as well, such as: a private spa and carrots to feed the horses; as well as some u-pick for the guests. Depending on the season, apple pie classes too! Don't give your money to a chain business when you can support these lovely...
