New Frontier Ranch — Hotel in Ashland

We recently stayed there for a family get together. We were told that check-in was at 3:00 pm. Some of us arrived at 3:30. We went to the Big Cabin (Lakeview) and were greeted by the ranch manager. He stated that he is currently living there and would be out in an hour. The rest of our family arrived at 4:30, he was still cleaning his stuff out of the cabin. We waited out in the dark until about 6:00 pm. until we could go in. The cabin stated there were 2 stoves. Only 1 stove was working. There was a lot of things on the kitchen counter, leaving very little room for our things. No dish rags to wash the kitchen dished with. There was not enough bath towels for our group. Sorry to see the place had no AC, there was no dish washing machine , the upholstery was too old and unkept . The nearest place for provision is 22 miles . There was no trash can to dump the leftovers. The area was full of insects . We could hardly sleep during the night . I never tasted the water as the water smelt of ferrous oxide which is harmful if you drink . Incidentally there was no RO. The Airbnb should inspect the places before recommending such accommodations to people.They should also take to task the agencies which recommend such resorts

Our stay at New Frontier Ranch was all time! We had a large group for a reunion and wanted to book something rustic at the last minute. We stayed at the Lakeview Cabin for New Years Eve. Solomon was incredibly friendly, helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay as well as his company.
