I cannot put into words the true joy of my experience but im going to try anyways. First of all when we arrived checkin took less the 5 minutes and with 5 kids in tow that was a godsend. Then we was escorted straight to our camper which they had already turned on the ac and made and turned down all the beds. We stayed in the hideaway rental and even with as much luggage as we were packing for a 4 day stay for so many people it had adequate storage to put all of it away out of sight. The camper had all the bedding and dishes we needed we was just told to bring our favorite pillows. They even provided towels. The lake was amazing and was divided into sections the beach section blocked off an area where the depth was 5 ft or less and sperated by rope with bouys after was very large area dedicated to anyone with a life jacket on. In that area the could boat paddle board float on rafts(all of which is provided by management on a first come first serve basis) and free of charge. There was the bank areas with 0-12 sheltered boths for people who wanted to fish. There was a 3rd are sectioned off for a real treat. The zip line and water slide. Both were very worth the steep walk up the hill. The place has a limited number of campsites which really made it feel like a private all to yourself lake. Because there were barely any other people there even though the park was full for the 4th of july weekend and holiday. On top of all of this the staff comes by and checks on you to see how you are doing and if u need anything. He even took our trash which we hadnt taken to the dumpster yet to the dumpster for us even though we protested. Also my kids kept using toilet paper in the camper toilet and caused a clog. 11pm on the 4th of july even though we told them we would use porta potties till morning he came out and fixed it. They truly are all about the comfort , relaxation and enjoyment of their guest. I whole heartedly reccomend.

Best camp ground in the tri state area, Diamond goes above and beyond for guests satisfaction. Our stay was in a travel trailer right next to the lake, fully stocked with silverware, plates, pans, and anything you need to have a great camping trip! Fishing poles where available and even bait! We had a fantastic trip and will be visiting again!

Some positives and negatives to share. Check in was quick and the owner frequently checked in on residents. The zip line and slide were a blast. The facilities include kayaks, floats, and paddle boards. The floats on a first come first serve basis. There were only a few families there so the kids were able to have their pick. Unfortunately there were so many unspoken rules and regulations that it felt like the kids and adults alike were constantly getting scolded. I recommend they establish a checkout system where the life guards explain expectations with families or simply explain this during check in. We brought our golf cart and were told upon arrival that we’re not allowed to use it. This needs to be listed on the website. There are regular residents living at the campground dispersed throughout and we were told quiet hours begin at 10:00. A staff member provided us with a reminder when outside with a small group of friends even with low volume music and average voice levels. I suggest putting regular residents in one area together so they are not disturbed by weekend visitors. The website states no lifeguards on duty however there were hovering closely to tell us every 15 minutes what not to do. So much that we started to wonder if there was anything we could do. There were so many rules that we couldn’t remember them all. I wasn’t sure if I should be grateful for the extra supervision or by the constant scolding. Again this could have been avoided with a brief overview upon arrival or before entering swim area. This place has the potential to be a great weekend spot with a...

We just pulled after staying a month at the campground. The staff were great and very responsive. The owner checked in with us often to ensure we enjoyed our stay and to see if we needed anything. They listen when we voiced concerns and quickly jumped into action. It was very helpful that they have a sign by the life vest that have clear details about the rules for the lake and fishing. I was also thankful for the newly added life guards, they did a great job ensuring the kids were safe. We have always had a great experience when we camp here. We can't wait to come back. This is by far our favorite place to camp. ( guest tip, the sunrise is beautiful, go out sit and read a book with your toes in the...
