The current location on maps (showing it in the middle of Ashley) is incorrect. It’s actually the Lake Hoskins Recreation Area, about 3 miles to the WNW. It’s a small campground with great views of the lake. There’s a camp host on premises that collects fees, very friendly. The shower house/bathroom is basic but clean. Dump station is good (needs a new flush hose fitting as it’s getting too worn to screw into a hose adapter). The RV sites are big with fire rings and picnic tables, electrical service (50/30A) and water. Plenty of picnic tables around the grounds too. Small fishing dock and boat access. Setting is beautiful. There’s a picnic shelter that should accommodate large groups. Fee was $20/night for an RV. Only negatives: Water is very metallic and pressure was inconsistent, mostly poor. Cut some trees down, trim the trees up, minimize all those bushes and cut all the grass and cattails along the lake. The playground is also getting old and needs help. I can push it side to side.
