This was an absolutely amazing find. Mike the owner was really helpful and the environment was peaceful. There are definitely long term residents who keep an eye on the place, so we felt safe leaving our belonging to explore around the area. We came in late and were looking for an affordable last minute reservation and ended up getting just that. Our site had water but it was a primitive site so no electric, which was fine by us as we had our tent and setup ready to go. The store had firewood for $5, ice for $1.75, and they took card or cash with no minimum spending limits. The store itself had all of your necessities for both tent camping and RV. It was a short drive to Dunkin in Ashtabula for coffeee (because coffee), though i'm sure they also had it elsewhere on the property. There were also lots of planned activities and bingo. Showers were great, bathroom was clean, and we had a great spot. All together an awesome experience for my family, we will definitely be heading there again. :D

I have NOTHING but great things to say about this camp ground. The permanent campers were so friendly… I actually got lost in the campground walking back from one of the ponds, didn’t have my cell phone or a map and someone gladly walked me back to our camper. I think the bathroom and shower house was clean… it’s definitely just an average shower house but nothing wrong with that! there are plenty of things to do with kids and even for adults. The pool was a little too cold for us, but it was just filled and opened so I can’t complain there. The only complaint I can say and it wasn’t the parks fault, our neighbor camper pulled way too far over and it was really close quarters for us… but it all worked out. The ladies at the desk were so kind and helpful. As it was our first year with an actual camper and not just a popup. I also think the rates are reasonable. But it is safe to say we will definitely be visiting this campground again this summer.

Cute place, mostly seasonal spots. We were in a 50amp FHU pull thru for one night. Had a fire ring and picnic table. We bought some wood from the office. Water pressure was really low as was the amperage on power pole. Our progressive kept tripping, even with nothing really on (121 on leg 1, 105 on leg 2). For $60/night, I’d expect to have decent water and electric. Pretty tight getting out but doable. We camped in a 43’ fifth wheel.

When I arrived the young lady at the desk was friendly. The owner had me follow him to the site he wanted me to be on. He said it was higher so when it rained it wouldn't flood. He had to have known better since it flooded all around my tent. There were plenty of spaces since I was the only tent and many of them weren't flooded. Even a worker there didn't understand why the owner put me there. The shower rooms were horrible. The sinks were dirty and the toilet stalls wouldn't lock closed. The locks were broken. The shower stalls had no hooks or benches to put your clothing and toiletries on. You either had to put your dirty clothes, towels and clean clothes over the partition or get dressed in the public area on the bench giving you no privacy. The office/store isn't well stocked. Most campground stores have a number of food items and other items you might need. They were very high priced. Game room and fitness areas are just storage. Nothing about it it like the website except the pool. It's nice. On Friday night there was music blasting from two different seasonal people. One on each side of the area I was in. Both different rock songs. And it was BLASTING. It wasn't quiet time yet but why should everyone have to hear their music. It was so loud I couldn't hear the movie I was playing in my tent. I have been to many campgrounds and this is by far the worst. I realize there are campgrounds that don't have WiFi but even at the office it wasn't strong enough for me to pick up what I needed. Also some of the seasonal campers looked old and neglected. I was told the office was open until 9pm. I went down at 8pm and it was closed. I felt like I was an inconvenience being there instead of being welcoming since I was a first time guest. i know they don't care if I come back and it's guarantee I...

Visited for a family reunion.....second year in a row. Better than the first year, but that's not saying much. Place is run down. Building where we had our social Friday night, and where they offer bingo, has no air conditioning and it was sweltering inside. Pool is large but quite dirty and there was no lifeguard on duty for the large amount of people swimming. And they do offer day passes, which makes the pool get very overrun. Bathrooms, by the pool, had one stall for a toilet and one open door changing stall and always runs out of toilet paper and no one seemed concerned about refilling. There's a "pavilion" which is a canvas awning they put up at requests. It's put up right next to the pool, so if you're having a semi-private event, it's not very convenient to have people gawking over the fence from the pool. Lots of family standing....not nearly enough room to accommodate the picnic tables needed to seat everyone inside the "pavilion". Some attendants in the office seemed like they didn't know what they were doing. Lots of family members got incorrect pricing. For what you pay here, you think you'd get a little more attention and a little more...
