The only thing nice about this hotel is maybe the beds. I’ve stayed at this hotel on a few occasions 1-2 years ago and never experienced what I did this past weekend 4/13/2018 - 4/15/2018. Upon arrival the staff at the desk was very rude and unfriendly. I brush it off. Get to our room (ROOM 105) and I can’t get the door open, the handle was put on upside down. Get in the room and it wreaks of mildew. I go to the front to ask for another room at a completely EMPTY hotel. She acts as if they have nothing, isn’t even apologetic for the room and says well you’ll have to go upstairs. Okay, fine.. give me the room (ROOM 207) We get up there and the a/c wont stay on. It was 80 in Oklahoma on Friday. We try to bare through it. Then I notice we only have 1 towel in our room. Mind you there are 4 of us on this stay. I go to ask for more and she tells me there is none and I’ll have to take pool towels. Okay fine. We continue to stick it out and unpack. The longer we stay though the more disgusted I get. Dust all over the room. A/C is filled with lady bugs, beetles, etc. There was a roach in the mini fridge that wouldn’t get cold and hair everywhere that didn’t belong to my family. The bed skirts were half on half off. Not sure who is cleaning these rooms but they are AWFUL. It’s gets closer to bed time and we can’t stand how hot it is anymore, so I finally cave and go ask for a room with a working A/C. We are moved once again for the 3RD time (ROOM 221). The a/c works, still covered in all kinds of bugs. But it works. Guess what doesn’t work? The TV. It shuts off every 20-30 minutes and we would have to reset the receiver. The room was unvacuumed, dusty, bed skirts hanging off, and no towels. We got so fed up we attempted the comfort inn, the price was double and we had already paid two nights upfront at Super 8. The hotels in this town are very limited. Super 8, Days Inn, and Comfort Inn are your best options. Pay the extra money and stay at Days or Comfort! Easily my worst hotel experience and I stay...
Read moreWorst place (we travel FREQUENTLY)! Travelers beware! I booked through Travelocity, arrived to the hotel and attempted to check in, only to be told that they did not have my reservation at all, even when I gave them my confirmation number provided by Travelocity. So I called Travelocity and they called the receptionist, who still could not find my reservation. I had to argue with Travelocity to get my refund even though it was clearly not my fault, then the receptionist proceed to charge me approximately 20% more than what my Travelocity fee was for the same room. While I was trying to get checked into a non-smoking room, a couple who had arrived before me came back saying their keys didn't work, so she sent them to another room. She checked me into room 110. My husband and me unloaded our suitcases and our dog and went to our room. I tried to open the door 3 times before an elderly gentleman opened the door. He was very kind but both of us were confused, and it was embarrassing for me. I went back, she casually dismissed it and gave us 112. The keys worked this time, but we opened the door to a strong odor of smoke. The AC was filthy, there were pubic and regular hairs on the bathroom floor, mold in the shower, toilet was jerry-rigged, floor was not vacuumed, bugs along all the baseboards, sheets had stains and smelled very odd. Well, there is a pool right? We changed into our swimsuits and asked the front desk for extra towels, the ones we had smelled weird. They "didn't have any extra towels". Around 10 pm our phone rang, the receptionist wanted to "make sure she put us in room 112". At 1 AM the unbelievable happened. Someone tried to open our door. I feel bad for that family, they seemed terribly embarrassed, and had their key to OUR room. 5 minutes later the phone rang AGAIN, only for front desk to apologize for calling, then called again 10 minutes later (1:15 AM!!!!) to say she just got in for her shift and did not have anyone listed in our room, wanted to know our names. DO...
Read moreWe have stayed here a couple times. Always work related. We have Wyndham rewards for being over the road drivers & are in a different hotel everynight. This is not NORMAL for Wyndham facilities. Thought my initial view was because of being an off day. Nope. We always ask for a single bed room (husband, wife & service dog) but was assigned double wich makes for a very sleepless night. 1.) Pictures on website need to be updated. Unedited or photoshopped. 2.) Both sets of stairs are rusted & concrete is broken and need of replacement. One set taped off & has orange cones & the other set is where you can see through the rusted metal on the stairs & concrete is broken. Stairs move while in use. Severe safety issue. 3.) Cleaning or lack of. Beds were made but room had not been cleaned, vacuum had not been used mud all around the bed, bathroom had not been cleaned. Previous persons dirty soap & shampoo were still in tub as well as dirty towels hanging from shower rack. Clean towels were not replenished. Chair next to bed was severely dirty & discolored. (Thank fully we had our own towels & toiletries) 4.) Toilets don't flush adequately to flush paper, you have to double flush. Shower has no pressure, however, it gets scalding hot. 5.) Heat blows but it's never warm. Set on heat, high at 75 degrees, room remained cold. 6.) Single bed rooms are on one side & double on the other side. (Or it has been our experience to be so) One side has truck parking (18wheeler) opposite side has flooded small vehicle parking. The side with flooded parking lot the floor in rooms get wet & room smells musty. 7.) Ice machine was broken...
