I am not actually sure what it is I even paid for. I went for a suite. We aren't even going to get into how the booking site I used said that the room included a hot tub(which the man at the front desk did offer a discount to my room when i asked about it) They do not offer hot tub rooms. Nor do they have one in their freezing pool room. I did not get to enjoy for the frigid temperature of both the water and the room. The sauna appears to just be a storage room and unusable. It was even worse in the morning, it's practically a polar plunge... the only warm water I got was taking a bath. My room had someone else's trash on the floors. The night stands don't appear to have ever been wiped down with someone's actual smudge shit stains all down the side of my side which was lovely...... Our room got one single towel. There is no information books or packets to be found in the room, no hotel information... I was not told when breakfast hours are... when check out is... nothing. There were noises the entire night. At first I thought it was cars driving over the bridge, but it was coming from inside the hotel. Sounded like distant gun shots or fireworks, but whatever it was it was only one of the things that kept me up half the night. The heater. Which I had set to 62°f, woke both me and my son up, drenched in sweat, at 3am with the room so hot and disgusting I had to turn the AC on the rest of the night. mind you it is February. At no point was the room ever in the 60°s no matter how I set it. I set it to 58°, as low as it goes, and we are both sweating. Did I really just pay over $130 to get sweat out with set of French doors in the room? I'm extremely disappointed with the entire stay. For how much I paid I expect so much better.... I've paid so much less for significantly better amenities. You won't see me back here again.
I went to grab a coffee on my way out thos morning and not even surprised that that was just as useless as everything else here. There was nobody atthe front desk at all this morning to even ask about anything Don't waste your money. I deserve a refund. This was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhere are the other employees? Same person from check in was working still the next day, and looked like he was sleeping when we checked out. When asked if they have a crib or a pack n play, I was told no and asked if I wanted a refund to stay elsewhere because I suggested they have that for guests with toddlers and babys. So I had to but one on top of paying for a room. Then, there's no room phone at all to call front desk, there are wires hanging from the wall where they smoke detector should be, the screen was broke, the toilet was loose. The entire first floor smelled. I seen no signs of housekeeping at all. The laundry room is absolutely disgusting with garbage all over the floor. No locking door on the side, which creates a safety issue. I will never stay at this " luxury hotel " again. I've stayed in better in detroit.
we realized there was still a charge for a FREE night a week later and when I called, I was threatened with the police and Wyndham corporate when I asked why they are keeping our money. But he refused to give me his bosses number or corporates number. He was completely unprofessional and rude. I will be calling and complaining about all of this. He doesn't deserve that job if that's how he treats guests. Hopefully there will be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRun down and dirty. Oddly enough, that ended up being the least of my concerns. The clerk charged my card twice. Almost 2 months later, I am still fighting to get it back. My credit union had to get involved. Iām fairly certain it was a scam. The clerk told me they had were switching ownership and he had to run my card on a different payment processor. He assured me the first time he had run my card, had been cancelled. Oops! No it wasnāt. Then I was told; not to worry, that charge would fall off in the morning when I checked out, and if it didnāt, he would refund me. 10 minutes later there was a sign on the desk saying sorry short staffed, with a phone number to call. We had to call because our toilet stopped working. No one ever answered or called back. Then, THE POWER WENT OUT FROM 1am to 6am. No one answered those calls either. When we went to check out around 9:30-10am, there was still no one at the desk. Iām working on starting a class action lawsuit against Wyndham. Iāve found hundreds of posts on FB and reviews all over travel sites with stories just like mine. Steer clear. This company...
