Angel Island View Inn — Hotel in Au Train Township

The best surprise for the end of our vacation. Stayed in Mackinaw & headed up to Munising for a few days. This place was so comfy like home, but had all the fun of up north. The owners were the best. Treated us great. Gave us 100% privacy. We Fished, paddle boated, enjoyed the bon fires at night. But slept in comfort with air conditioning or wood burner, whatever you needed. A ton of games, movies & things for kids to do inside. Just loved it. The only thing is the few backroads getting in. But after you drive them a couple days it's easy...

The host was very kind and gave us recommendations on where to go site seeing and where to get great food. He had ciyacks and a pontun boat for free use while we were there. There was a bonfire pit aswell. They had a wonderful place. It was log cabin themed and it had lots of bedrooms and private space including a living room and full kitchen. This is a wonderful little gem tucked away in a quiet, pristine part of the Upper Peninsula. The owners are extremely accommodating and their Inn was spotless. I would highly recommend this place to any group looking to get away from the daily grind, spend some time by a lake, and relax with friends or family. I would like to return for snowmobiling...
