Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch, LLC — Hotel in Ava

This is hands down my favorite local place to escape to. Camping can be Bear Grilles rustic or within stumbling distance to beautiful hot showers,private toilets, playground 4 the budding off-roader, & omg tasty lil food shack. Campsites start with just a grill pit (bring a grate for the pit & you'll be in bizness!) to electric hookups for not much more. Even if you dont have a rig to wheel (you'll be hunting Craig's list when you get home), its a great place to camp with your fam or that new girlfriend or boyfriend, always something fun going on. It's so beautiful anytime of the season (check sched for 🐎or👟) bring your camera! Always a good idea, and way more fun, to go wheelin w/a group if you're going to try the tougher trails, but as long as you can communicate with the office, and bring some tools, you're good 2 go. We ride SMORR a few times a year in our RZR'S. Brandon is an incredible park owner. He is an avid off-roader himself and has created an environment dedicated to like minded people. The park is the cleanest I have ever stayed at. A topic I want to highlight is his bathrooms and shower houses. They are very very clean! If you are rough camping a hot shower at the end of the day of wheeling is guaranteed at SMORR. The trails are nice as well. They have a rating system 1-6 and accommodates to all skill levels but is geared towards those that aren't of the faint of heart. The park is 940 acres but feels way bigger and can easily provide 3 straight days of wheeling without hitting the same trail 2x. The trails are labeled well with great signage and it's mapped out well with a color coded trail system on the physical map. Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch is hands down one of the best off-road destinations I’ve ever visited! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how well-maintained and thoughtfully designed the ranch is.

The trails are absolutely incredible, offering a perfect mix of challenge and scenery. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced off-roader, there’s something here for everyone. We tackled some rocky climbs, splashed through muddy trails, and even enjoyed breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

The staff at SMORR are top-notch—friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. They clearly care about the off-roading community and go above and beyond to make sure everyone has a safe and unforgettable time.
