Beaver Creek Resort is an excellent place to stay for your vacation and we recommend it most highly. We rented “Sizeable Log Cabin 2364” for two weeks in August 2023. Our great review is based on many factors as follows.
Safety : Of course the most important factor is Safety, and on this account we can report excellence. Grounds were well patrolled 24/7 for safety, the locks on the front door were keycoded, there were very conservative speed limits posted for driving, the grounds were well lit where needed, complete identification was required to enter the grounds (the security guard had a complete list).
Cabin : The large cabin was more than big enough for our family, extremely clean, all cooking and eating needs, showers worked well, cabin was well supplied, Had fun using the wood burning pit, used the barbecue, nice view from the terrace, quiet at night, excellent beds, cable TV and DVD player.
Grounds: spectacularly maintained, nice lake, hills and valleys, Activities (All included in the price of rental) : Swimming pool and hot tub very clean, water temperature just right, Miniature golf - full 18 holes very interesting layout, tennis court, basketball hoop, kayaking in the lake, game room for us and the kids, liked the horse drawn carriage ride a lot.
Golf: Many golf courses in the area including a “Natural” course just down the road.
Employees : were wonderful: all showed they really liked their jobs, security, maintenance, store,...
Read moreThe cabin was in need of repairs and in general poor condition. We stayed at the newest facility Benjerimins beave creek with our grandchildren. most of the amenities we not operating i.e., water slide, sauna, lake/beach, activity center. We are life members in outdoor adventures and this stay was enough to make one regret buying into this program. We rented a cabin for 7 days and were suppose to get discounts that we did not get for a bogus holiday that the staff claimed was taking place that week which we tried to find but did not exist. The staff is poorly trained and understaffed as well and appear to have no training in customer relations related to the hospitality business. Another let down was that as part of the cabin rental, golf fee's were suppose to be included with the cabin rental if you show your member ship card, but what they did not tell you was that you have to pay for the cart which would not have been an issue if communicated that way. In addition to the above, the miniature gold was a wreck!!! When we booked this stay, we were not told of all of the ongoing issues at the facility but had to pay...
Read moreWe had a lot of fun. A couple things I am only commenting on because I wish I had known…I was told I didn’t need to bring coffee or silverware and that the cabin slept 6 comfortably. Well we were here four days but there’s only coffee for two (we went to purchase some at the convenience store/office and were told they no longer carry it but have coffee filters 🤔….also had charcoal but no lighter fluid). And for silverware it was okay because there was four us and an infant BUT if you have more than four people you’d want to bring some. There’s only four forks and four spoons. The living room (cabin 2321) only had a small loveseat so only two could sit. This wasn’t a huge deal because we were outside a lot. Just worth noting. All of those small things aside we had a blast at this location! The pool was very clean, putt putt was free & the kids had a BLAST on the slide!!
If you’re wanting to rent a golf cart get one asap because we went Saturday morning and they...
