Absolutely incredible first experience at STA! At my urging my wife and I decided to visit STA. It was our first/first...first time visiting STA and first time visiting a nudist area. Our experience started with a phone conversation with Richie. I explained that this would be our first time visiting and our first time at a nudist resort. He was very understanding and took the time to explain the "do's and dont's" of STA. He understood the importance of my wanting this to be a positive experience for us both but especially for my wife. We decided to visit the next day. We arrived and were greeted by a naked Bob. Bob got us all signed in and then turned us over to Jeff for a tour of the grounds. Jeff was very informative answering all of our questions with candor and honesty. He made us feel very welcome and comfortable. He also introduced us to other members as we walked. Each member welcomed us and made us feel "at home". After the tour, Jeff let us know we were free to undress and explore the area. We undressed with little hesitation, grabbed our towels and headed for the heated salt water pool. Again we were greeted and welcomed by everyone we met. The pool was so relaxing! The freedom of being able to walk around unhindered and judgement free nude is quite frankly...exhilarating! By the end of the day we were both very comfortable with our nudity and the nudity of the other members. I absolutely recommend STA especially if you're a "first-timer"! Go with an open mind and enjoy yourself "ah'naturel"!! Thank you Jeff and all the members that we interacted with for making this an incredible...
Read moreI think this is the smallest naturist resort I’ve been to. Very pretty, basically in the middle of a forest. Fantastic salt water pool, cabanas pool side to get out of the sun if you’ve had enough. Games like corn hole poolside. Places to grill out. The lake looks awesome but I couldn’t bring myself to skinny dip in 77 degree water when the pool is 88 degrees. There’s a wood fired sauna down by the beach that I’m told anyone is welcome to fire up and use. I am staying in one of the rental cottages - the “Doll House”. I have no idea how it got that name because there is nothing “doll house” about it. This one has a “half bath”. It has a refrigerator freezer-bigger than those small ones you see in hotels but not full sized either. It has a very new looking stove and a microwave. Fully equipped kitchen. Small table with two chairs. My cabin has an attached patio with another small table and two chairs. I’m a couple hundred feet away from the pool and showers. The bed is not very comfortable. Bedding is NOT provided and if I was told this when I made my reservation two months ago, I forgot it. I had to run in to Falmouth to pick up a sleeping bag and pillow, but I needed a few other things for my three night stay anyway so no big deal. The residents here are very friendly. If you are looking for a place to explore the nudist lifestyle this would be a perfect place to come try it. They offer day passes. If I lived in the area I would absolutely become a member. I’d even consider becoming a resident. Check...
Read moreWhat can I say. I discovered Sandy Terraces 3 yrs ago, and upon going my 1st weekend you couldn't keep me away. The grounds are very well kept including the cottages you may also rent out at very reasonable rates, the inground salt water pool is to die for (salt water is very good for the skin btw). The staff and members running the camp are also extremely friendly and overall good people, they make you feel very welcome and comfortable. If you're a respectable person who is a nudist/naturist or even a first timer looking to experience the natural way of living. Come on down to Sandy Terraces, you will not be...
