My husband and I stayed at site 15. I was a little nervous about the water connections being far away after some reviews, but ours was very close and so was all of the surrounding sites. For reference I took a pic and it shows our 50’ hose had tons of slack still. Our site had a 30 amp plug and also other outlets to plug things into. The pad site with a table, grill, and prep area were so handy. There’s also a trail right on the backside of this site leading down to the water where we spent hours swimming. The site isn’t perfectly level being gravel, but we travel prepared for that anyways. Overall it was a lot of fun. It’s next to the dock as well so watching the boats was exciting. If you like camping while it’s quiet and calm definitely come during the week because it empties out a lot. My only complaint is that some RVers use bright LED strip lights and don’t turn them off. It shined into our bed window all night. So glad we came here and we will be back!

I had almost 360 degree views of the water. Pretty quiet most of week. Saturday night some RV campers were playing music pretty loud but its a nice campground with clean bathrooms, hot showers and a playground for kids. Also a sand volleyball court. $22 a night. They take the America the Beautiful Golden Pass discount cards.

We stayed at site 40 in a travel trailer. It is close to the water. It is also close to a water hookup and has a 30 amp electric hookup. It would be a good place to swim. We enjoyed the camp fire a couple nights. I had some good hikes with my little dog saw a ground hog and three deer.

I used to over look the lack of maintenance on the campsites because the price for camping was always lower than other areas like kansas lakes. But now the price per night is higher but the campsites still have issues. Alot of the sites that accommodate up to a 60ft or 75ft vehicle length some are really hard to get in due to culverts not being very wide and the angle you have to back in. Also most sites besides the ones right on the water need leveled out. No reason why a person should have to carry around a bunch of boards to get the camper level. And last thing the sites have a 30 amp main breaker but if the air is running and we use an appliance for very long it tries the main breaker. But besides that the bathrooms are well kept we like the playground and all the trees and the...

We used this for an overnight while traveling on highway 75 through the area. Our site, 006, was easy to back into and fairly easy to level. We remained hooked up with our 36' 5th wheel for our one night stay. Water supply is a bit distant from the campsite, but we had enough hose to reach so no problem. The lake is visible from campsites. Lake water level is really low, but it's in a lovely wooded, hilly area. Interior roads are in good shape. The bath house was clean and nice, though we didn't shower in it so can't comment on water temp, etc. Site 005 was a bit tricky to back into due to narrow approach and ditches. But site 006 was quite easy. Verizon signal good. No OTA TV channels. We would...
