Hickory Hills Campground — Hotel in Bass Lake

We went camping here this weekend and planned to stay for 2 nights. Friday night was a little loud before we headed to bed but otherwise pretty good. Saturday night though a HUGE fight broke out at the entrance of the campground which was close to our campsite and we quickly had to send the kids inside because of the physical/as well as verbal fighting. It got scary fast and even the police showed up. I heard from some close campers that came over that this was a normal event as it is the family that regularly fight. Definitely NOT A FAMILY CAMPSITE! Our children were so scared and upset! Would not recommend! We ended up leaving LATE in the night. Just...

New seasonal camper here and I must say I'm one Happy Camper! Went out to meet the owner a few months ago and she took me around in her golf cart to pick out the most perfect spot. Once I picked one out and brought my camper and set it up it's been heaven. Everyone is so nice and friendly many waves and welcomes we received from other campers and staff. The property is beautiful and big with tons to do. From the private pond to fish or swim in to the kids playgrounds. Definitely happy we picked Hickory Hills and plan to stay a very long time. Can't wait to get back to my peaceful place...

Response To Hillary, It was a Busy weekend, My daughter Felicia, was at the office most of the time, We had a fun filled weekend, Carnival Games for the kids on the beach,Free Barrel ride for the kids, Free Hayrides for our campers, throughout the whole entire weekend! We had the Band, The Rest Saturday Night, We had a Pot Luck Sunday For the Campers, The showers were cleaned before the Weekend, And all the stalls had Toilet Paper! There was campers and golf carts everywhere! It was a Fun-Filled Weekend! This Campground this past weekend was most definitely not by any means...
