This is a beautiful campground, set on a lake with lovely owners. It’s easy to get to and close to the Jersey Shore. There is a great brewery about 20 min away. There’s a beautiful bike path (albeit along a main road) and miles to hike. The lake is small but pretty and they have canoes for rent. Sites are wooded and spacious. The setting is absolutely lovely. However, be prepared to spend 30 minutes getting into and out of your site. The roads within the campground are VERY narrow and heavily wooded. There are no easy turns and you maybe have some scars left on vehicle or trailer from the brush and or small trees that overhang the road. We are seasoned trailer pullers both with a boat and 31’ TT and it was challenging. But if you’re up for an adventure, you will love this campground.

I love this place! The coolest, most rustic little campground ever, and the owners are amazing. There is a lake for swimming/canoeing/fishing and it is absolutely pristine. If you're considering camping, definitely give this place a shot.

I have no words to describe the place I just want to say that I do recommend this place... Love the thing that even when you have to go away from the big city you will be able to have good signal on my mobile smart devices...

Overall an average campground with a pond that is prettyfilthy . We started out by getting there at night, it was really hard to see so by accident we occupied the wrong campsite that happened to without water and electric when we paid for both. Once the husband owner dropped off a wheel barrow of wet wood, he told us we were in the wrong spot. Since we were already unpacked we said we would like to stay here and there were no other campers so he proceeded to say well make sure you get a refund for not getting water and electric. So I was like great. Next day I ask the wife owner for the refund and she begins to tell me it's my fault for picking the wrong campsite! What? You were the ones who told me get the refund. Reluctantly she gave me the refund but the next day she made it a point to turn off all water from other sites nearby AND turned off the communal water as well!!!REALLY! which we were told to use since we picked a site with no water. i mean these people are really cheap plus you can only purchase their wood and no outside wood. Also there are tons of Mosquitos and ticks, our two dogs got eaten alive. Plus there were no other campers here only a few seasonal folks who would stare me and wife down every time they would drive by. EWW! Do yourself a favor and skip the jersey shore for camping, go to the poconos where it...

My girlfriend Terri and I have camped @ Pilgrim Lake for the past 3 years. We have a pop-up trailer, and were assigned a fantastic spot right by the lake...with the best view ever...and only steps from the most quiet , beautiful...and rustic water and surroundings anywhere in the Pinelands ! Many other campgrounds have more of a variety of accommodations, but are way too crowded and busy for our taste....I mean, we come here to enjoy nature, and some peace and quiet, away from our busy lives up North ! Helen and Scott have become valued friends, and as a matter of fact its time once again to reserve a site ! Besides the tranquility, the nice clean beach area...Terri LOVES how clean (and close by to our site) the bath house is maintained !! I cannot wait to get back here in the next few weeks ! Oh...and the day trips to AC were fantastic...knowing we could return to our "2nd home" in the woods, instead of traveling 2 hrs home. Can't wait to set up the camper, light the fire, and just take in all the beauty ! YES, we are fans of...

Helen and her husband are two of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. From the first phone call I made to inquire her voice and personality were very welcoming I was sold. when I arrived I was greeted by Hellen and she was exactly the same. Just a sweetheart. The place was so peaceful everyone very friendly. I was getting hand shakes from strangers introducing themselves. At first I thought this is weird they all can't be this friendly but after day 2 I realized why. It's just so damn relaxing there that everyone was so happy. We really enjoyed the lake and the boats. My wife never been camping before and faught me kicking and screaming about going in the woods. Then on the first morning I woke up she was up relaxing reading a book and said thank you for bring me here. If your looking for somewhere to get away and relax this...
