I did have a nice greeting from a woman that works there, when I finally found someone to check me in but we did like the place and our cottage was nice enough we had big trouble with the furnace (gas), which was unplugged when we first got there so we plugged and was not working so they came in and pilot light was out and making very loud noises (scary), we did not feel safe there at all. So this went on all night and the next morning we had to keep tracking them down tell them it is still not working. We did not want to spend another night there with no heat and our bathroom sink was totally clogged and stopper was broke which they did come and fix. When the young woman came into to our cottage to return some of our money (which I requested) she tries to blame it on the the gas man that delivered the next morning after we were having trouble already with the furnace all night and the next morning. Read moreI have been going to this campground since i was 14 years old, i am now 27 and i can say that this family run campground is absolutely amazing. They have mini golf, a great store an arcade swimming pools for adults and kiddies a basketball hoop, play ground, arcade and an athletic field. They usually have ice cream socials on some sundays. Way back we were even helping build the floats for parade day. Scott, sandy and denis "apologize if i spelled any names wrong" you will always have my vote on best campground and some of the most friendly faces around. Also if you visit in the warmer months, check out the tubing! They will drive you up river with a rented or self bought tube to float back down to the camp ground on a roughly 45 minute rube ride! Also check out the on the hop ice cream shop just up the road, it is an old school ice cream shop dedicated to the 70's and it is well worth the visit for...
Read moreWe have been camping at Twin Rivers Campground for the past 7+ years for the 4th of July. The Solinsky family and staff are extremely helpful and kind. Although we do not have children with us, it is a very child-friendly campground with many activities and things for them to do. The store is definitely reasonably priced and they have everything you could imagine available. The fireworks are fantastic for the 4th of July. We look forward to our trip every year and continue to see familiar faces as most are repeating customers. We have never had a negative experience and we know that will continue as the staff is always making sure you are happy and comfortable. The campground is well maintained and the staff does an unbelievable job keeping it clean. With the coronavirus going on right now, they took all precautions to make you feel safe and taken care of. I would highly recommend Twin Rivers...
