Lake Merwin Camper's Hideaway — Hotel in Battle Ground

My family goes up here and have a cabin up here. It's absolutely gorgeous. The lake is so refreshing and fun. And the main street is well paved and the pool is very nice. The drawbacks however are pretty significant when you are paying tens of thousands of dollars to have a place to stay. On multiple occasions the ladies that own the place were rude and straight up hostile. Especially when we were getting things ready to get in the lake. There are a lot of rules and it does not take a whole lot of noise for complaints to be made. Other people I know here have paid thousands in fines from noise complaints. And don't try to park anywhere that isn't your driveway as the people are itching to tow you away. But overall it's a beautiful place and fun to stay at. I however would never buy...

I love this place. A world unto it's own really. Beautiful and quiet. It's a glam camping community with individually owned lots. They also have a couple of guest spots that are available to rent. Amenities include bath houses on each block where you can shower or use the facilities, a laundry room, a chapel for Sunday worship, a lookout point that includes a covered sitting area with kitchen, putt putt style golfing, an outdoor movie area, it's own restaurant, an indoor pool with a sauna and Jacuzzi, and of course the lake. The lake has rentals, slips for your own boat, a shallow spot for the kids to swim and lots of picnic areas. There are planned activities for every age group and even some classes, and bingo and bunko nights. It's a very beautiful home away...

It's a really awesome place except security takes it a little too far and over steps their boundaries seems like they forget that we pay alot of money to buy are place and every year in dues so that we can go spend time with are family's and have fun and when they refuse to let people in that are literally on the list of owners and then tell them the list is not relevant and they don't care if the.rest of the family is in side and dose not have cell service is not ok thank goodness I drove to the top to see if their was any issues and even then the security guard proceeds to be rude and disrespectful to me when we have owned a place down their for over 10 years and the last couple years security has gone in...
