Came up with my family for 1 night to check the place out to see if it is worth what they charge for a week in the summer. Reserved cabin 12, showed up Saturday morning to a locked office/lodge and had to call someone. We were told over the phone cabin 12 was under construction and not cleaned so we had to use cabin 7 next door which was ok but really like the deck on cabin 12 and not so much on 7 for my morning and evening coffee. Cabin 7 was really nice as well as cabin 12 which we were able to walk through. Was able to use their newer pontoon boat as a way to make up for switching cabins which was nice. Would have been better if I had my fishing gear. Smaller pontoon and in my opinion over priced, if we would have had to pay, compared to what we have paid for much larger and nicer boats in the past. Not much of a beach or water activities for the kids as well as lacking in other outdoor activities, what they do have is old and out dated. In the morning still no staff so we had no access to lodge and any amenities it offers for our entire visit. Once again had to contact someone so they could have someone meet me to pay our bill. PLEASE NOTE they do not accept card payment of any type, still in the stone age of cash or personal check only. Overall pleased with the cabin that we were put in but it was over priced for the service...
Read moreMe and my family decided on a spur of the moment trip up north. We thought Auger's looked perfect and the price was hard to beat. So we gave it a go. The people that run it were FANTASTIC! If you are looking for a relaxing get away for your family, this is the place to be! It was very quiet and comfortable. I can guarantee that me and my family will make a many trips back there. ||||No it is not SUPER fancy with big screen TV's and random stuff like that, but in my eyes, trips up north are not about sitting in front of a TV. It is about whats around the resort and the people that come up there. And in my eyes, IT WAS PERFECT!||||Thanks for a great weekend to the owners of Auger's Pine View Resort! We loved it!||||-The...
Read moreThis is my second year in a row coming here for the weekend (fishing opener). It's quiet, never crowded, and is a nice location for fishing and boating. It's tucked away from Highway 10 but not too far from any amenities. The closest town is within 10 minutes. The cabins are nice, but you need to bring your own toiletries and towels as well as kitchen extras like soap and paper towels. Other than that, just show up and enjoy the quiet time. Well, the loons are loud but...
