Karim, the host, is nothing short of exceptional. He met with us multiple times before the wedding, answered every question with care and clarity, and ensured we were fully informed every step of the way.

The venue itself is stunning and incredibly well-maintained. It comfortably accommodated our family and wedding party, creating an intimate yet spacious environment for everyone to enjoy. The provided tables and chairs were a huge convenience, and the layout of the ranch made our day feel effortless and magical.

Karim is prompt, responsive, and genuinely committed to making your experience special. He goes above and beyond to work with you, and you can tell he takes great pride in what he does. The homes on the property are clean, organized, and stocked with everything you could possibly need, every detail was thoughtfully considered.

I recently had the pleasure to visit Restoration Ranch as a guest for a day visit. Making the drive south of Houston was relaxing itself, but once I drove through the gates of the ranch, it seemed like all busy-ness of the day faded away.

One hour drive from Houston, 15 miles from El Campo and 30 minutes from Matagorda Bay, this retreat is perfectly located to allow you and your guests an escape for a weekend or an entire week.

With 3 cozy cabins, a 4 bedroom home and the central lodge house all situated on the banks of a small recreational lake, there are plenty of activities so that once you arrive, you never want to leave. Kayaking, paddle boat and fishing activities are available. In the spacious lodge house, a fully equipped game room with shuffle board, billiards and video games for entertainment plus a roomy viewing theater for popcorn and a movie. The fully equipped kitchen with ice maker, dual ovens and convection oven make this a great place for any family or group gathering.

Sitting on the deck overlooking the lake was a perfect way to spend a relaxing afternoon. My only regret was not getting to stay into the evening hours to stargaze sitting out by the firepit at this retreat from the big city lights....
