Twin Forks Campgrounds, Bear Creek, Alabama — Hotel in Bear Creek

Stayed here for the weekend before they closed. I am not sure of previous posts about bad roads, but all were perfectly paved and smooth for us. The manager was more than helpful and accommodating. We tent camped at spot #45 at the end of the pennisula which was absolutely perfect. Honestly, this was one our best campgrounds visiited ... well maintained and managed. Our bucket list was to visti Dismal's Canyon. Its about a 20 minute drive only, so we recommend this camp ground if thats where...

Twin Forks camp ground is a clean family orientated place Debbie & Roy who run the camp ground are the two of the most friendly people you will ever meet they treated me like I was part of there own family as well as everyone I met there. The bathrooms are very clean as well is the hole place I highly recommend if you want a fun clean family friendly place to take your family camping this is the place I go every chance I can get away. Want let you reserve a campsite a day or week or month ahead of time..got there and No trash cans or BBQ on campsite we rented. AND I was told by 1 person you have to be out by 10am. And got there after a 5 hour drive they say checkout time is 2pm..I could have saved us a day rent in money. If they new what they were talking about...place is nice but needs a lot of changes 🙄 I give...
