Nice little campground. Views are great whether you are in a spot right on the lake or on the other side of the loop. The bathrooms are not great. The guys bathroom have no doors on the stalls and the girls stall door hit your knees almost. It was a cool weekend that we were there and there was no heat on in the bathrooms. The showers are coin operated, did not use them as it was too cold. The showers are kind of lowly lit and cement floors. Not the nicest, but I'm sure they would be fine if you had nothing else. The price is reasonable and if you don't feel like cooking, there are a couple of restaurants in the area that are nice. Manistee is fairly close too. I had called ahead and was told my name would be on a post, but it wasn't. It wasn't a busy weekend, so finding a spot was easy. Not sure if I would trust having a spot available on a...
Read moreBeautiful camping spots on the water. Campground hosts are very friendly. Very easy in and out if you have a kayak or jetski or boat. Be aware that the north entrance is VERY steep, but the south one isn't too bad. There are currently low hanging tree branches that will rub your rig if it's over 11' tall. Bathroom station is a bit of a walk if you're at a waterfront site. Dump station is on a steep and curved incline, so not too user friendly for over 30' campers or campers with dual dump valves. Overall, this is a great location and the campground is well kept and clean, so we had a very...
Read moreAwesome Campground, super friendly staff! Went tent camping for the weekend, and it was great! My suggestions: bring your own grill (there's 2 there, but I like my own), and an extension cord. There's electric at each site, but the way I positioned my tent, I had to charge things while awake, which is all good. Also, bring quarters and dimes, super clean showers/bathrooms, but the showers take quarters and dimes. Will...
