Camping here is one of my favorite experiences. I love being so close that I can walk right out onto the beach. Watching the sunrise on the beach is perfection. The water pressure in the cabins is excellent, which is so nice after a day of sun and sand. My friend said that the water on the island tastes better than the water at her house. I'm guessing that's because it's well water? Speaking of water, during the summer months, the water temperature of the ocean is really nice. I highly recommend bringing a 4 wheel drive vehicle with tow straps and traction boards,...

We camped on Cape Lookout. Fishing was great. Amenities are very limited and one night was enough for me. Bring your own TP for restrooms, and restrooms near lighthouse don’t have a sink. We caught big blue fish and a pompano. It was fun driving...

LOVE THIS PLACE. Being going for 20+ years now fishing and never plan on stopping. Fishing is great, the scenery is amazing, and you never know what you might see...
