Superior Hideaway — Hotel in Beaver Bay Township

Modern and clean A-frame with a fantastic view of Lake Superior, a fire pit, and incredible barrel sauna that has a large bubble window to enjoy the view while detoxing your body and mind. We were there for 4 days and I wanted to stay 4 weeks! A lot of thought went into the build and design of the property. Quality materials in and out. All the necessities supplied for the kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. The heating and cooling system was easy to use, and there were small fans and blackout shades in the bedrooms to assist with a good nights sleep. The bed was the bomb in comfort including the pillows and linens. They had several candles throughout and I brought my Alexa to stream music all day and wine to kick back, allowing an environment to relax, and enjoy the view. I appreciated I could bring my family member, Buddy who enjoyed exploring the grounds and curious when seeing passive deer. The only wish I had was a gate on the front deck so pets could relax outside without a leash. One final comment, if you come for nothing else, come for the views of sunrises and sunsets that glow across the lake and horizon. Thank you Jamie for being an awesome host and great communicator. Peaceful getaway A quick getaway for our family including our big labradoodle, Rex. It was a great spot and had a beautiful view of the lake. At first, we weren't sure we were at the right cabin, so maybe a sign would be helpful to know we were at the right cabin. Summit had everything we needed for our two-day trip. Love the minimal feel. We, especially Rex enjoyed lounging and sunbathing on the patio and by the fire pit. It would've been nice to have a gate for the patio for Rex. We loved that there were some games available and the TV was in the bedroom. We were able to fully unplug together. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and my birthday at the Overlook Tiny Home in March and it was everything we hoped for. We love spending time on the North Shore and finding new places to stay and enjoy. Overlook is a definite standout. Access to the house and instructions were clear.
