Deer Ridge at Lexington — Hotel in Bedford

Planning a wedding is not always the smoothest process, however choosing Deer Ridge at Lexington was the best & easiest decision we made. The reception space is beautiful, modern, spacious and versatile. We loved that we weren't stuck with one aesthetic. We could make the space our own and our wedding wouldn't look like every else's before us. The grounds around the venue space has been landscaped beautifully as well. The attached Lodge is absolutely gorgeous! Our family and wedding party stayed there the night of our wedding and the bridal party used it for getting ready the day of which made everything so easy and convenient. Angela has made that space incredibly luxurious yet very comfortable. It was the biggest selling point for us when looking for a wedding venue in SW Iowa. We also utilized the on site ceremony option as well as renting the Annex for the myself and my husband to stay on our wedding night. Again, the grounds are absolutely gorgeous and made for incredible first look photos. The Annex is very private, comfortable and, again, beautifully decorated. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for wedding options in this area. Angela & John have paid meticulous attention to every single detail and are wonderful about staying in touch with their clients addressing any questions or concerns. The accommodations are fabulous and there is absolutely nothing comparable within a few hundred miles. I am so thankful we booked Deer Ridge at Lexington for the most important day...

My husband and I got married at Deer Ridge at Lexington in September 2022 and we absolutely could not recommend it enough! Angela is amazing through the entire process. If we wanted something, she helped us make it happen and really tailored our experience to us. She is super communicative and if we needed anything, we could always call or text and she was there for us. We were initially worried about lodging and catering for the area, because we live a few hours away and there is not much in Bedford, but she provided us a booklet [that she made herself!] with local vendors and vendors that had been used in the past and we were completely set. All of our guests found places to stay nearby and we took FULL advantage of the attached lodge for our bridal party, which was AMAZING! It was so nice to be able to get ready right there and not worry about anyone getting lost or not being on time. We had originally planned for an outdoor wedding, but due to weather, we had to move inside and although I was hesitant, Angela put me at ease and made sure the inside ceremony was just as beautiful as outside. Overall, we truly had such a blast and we could not have done it without Angela, her staff, and Deer Ridge...

This is Ron with the band SoulRoot. We had the pleasure of performing at this amazing venue over the past holiday weekend. I am here to tell you that Angela and John set the bar high. Just a little context here...we are a group out of the central part of Missouri and play about 75 show a year on average. We perform in many very nice venues, but none any nicer than Deer Ridge at Lexington. Beautiful patio and large, open space with a definite touch of class. The attached living quarters are as nice as any 5 star hotel that I have stayed in before. From a traveling band perspective, Angela and John were amazing to work with. They took care of everything that we requested and so much more than we ever expected. If you are looking for a venue to host your event, do not make the mistake of not touring Deer Ridge at Lexington. And let us know if you need entertainment, because we cannot wait...
