Lizzy's Landing — Hotel in Belhaven

A Kayaking, Canoe, and Fishing destination in Belhaven North Carolina. Reviews say: We couldn't have asked for anything better. First of all, the house is a HUGE 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house with a very spacious living area with sliding doors to the back deck. The kitchen and dining area a very large as well - also have sliding doors to the back deck. The house also had everything we needed (and then some). The AC worked great - cooled off quickly, even after turning the temp up to 80 while we were gone throughout the day (per the owner's request). Shower head was super nice (I'm a big shower head fan). Great shade in the back yard! Now I've saved the best for last! We brought our kayaks, and we were able to put in right off the back yard! There is a large, concrete boat ramp, but we didn't even need it. We just stepped right in from the edge of the yard - wooden landing with boat tie offs. We had a blast kayaking and kayak fishing! It was so easy, we were able to go out several times. I know we wouldn't have gone out as much if we had to load up and go somewhere else. About 5-10 min drive to Belhaven - eat at Fish Hooks - get the Trawler. About 15 minutes or so to Bath and about 30 minutes from Washing (eat at Backwater Jacks!). Overall -...
