I was in West Virginia for work and I came upon a town called Belington. I was at the end of the work day and noticed the Midtown so I grabbed a room. This is what I consider a roadside independent. I went into the room and noticed that it was extremely clean. I can tell that the bed is newer and was very comfortable and was able to get a good night sleep. The shower and toilet works like they should. It is very convenient that there is a great little place called The Laurel Mountain Inn across the street to get a bite to eat. There is also a Sheetz gas station about a quarter mile away and just about next door to a Family Dollar. Overall great night. Will stay here again if I ever end up in Belington again. Read moreI'm here working on the pipeline and stayed here over a month. The only nice thing I can say is the housekeep does a great job keeping the rooms nice and prices are reasonable but... Manager is hard to work with and very nosey. They went through my cloths drawer while I was away then bragged to my coworker (who was staying in another room) about what he found. I was disgusted and embarrassed! I did not feel safe there. The doors do not have a latch. They walk into Rooms with "do not distub" signs and on them and on more than one occasion entered my room only to snoop around not to service the room. Homeless people wander the parking lot and he strictly enforces no cooking in the rooms even to extended stay guests. I bought a camper and moved out as soon as I...
Read morei read the reviews about this place before i stayed,i had a very nice 2 night stay here, the room was clean, plenty of hot water with a hearty shower,unlike the tepid sprinkling shower heads in the chain hotels....hotel management was very friendly and attentive,i would have happily paid more for the accommodations! the breakfast and dinner i had immediately across the street at the laurel inn restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced.....the locals were gracious and friendly........will happily come and visit again....the folks in belington make me proud to be a fellow...
