*Update we have now been coming here for 5 years and it is always a great time! Kathy is awesome and remembers us each year. She gives it a wonderful personal touch. We come here every year and will continue to do so. It is a perfect location to get to places, the beach is great, and it us always clean and in working order! Highly recommend!

We got a beach view suite and was very pleased. Upon arrival, the check in process was quick and easy and there was no trouble with our reservation. Our room was very clean and ready for us. We did ask for a couple of extra large towels and they were great with that. It is nice to have the stove, full size refrigerator, sink and the few dishes that they had. That will be great for when we go back with the family! The pool, shuffleboard, and picnic area was well maintained and clean. They have grills for you to use and the picnic tables are awesome. Our room was the suite so we had a table on our porch as well. You can tell that it is an older resort, but it was clean and well maintained! Our sliding glass door opened to the beach and it was amazing to keep it open at night to hear the sounds of the waves. The bed was actually very comfortable and the dining table and couch was great for what we needed. We did not interact with the staff much but the lady at check in was very kind. The beach is very nice, clean and quiet compared to a lot of other places. The resort has homes to the south and north so you don't have a lot of crowds, but the sand is so soft and they have beach chairs, umbrellas and even toys to play with at the resort that you can take down to the beach. The only things that could use improvement was the parking situation, which with the limited space, not sure how they could fix that. The parking lot is small and our rental car was an SUV so that was tough, but not impossible. The other thing is the screen door was old and tough to open and close, we did report it, but they did not fix it during our stay. But those small things are not worth less stars. This place is a great place to enjoy a quiet beach that has amazing views, not too crowded, pool, chairs, toys, and so much for you to enjoy whether you are by yourself, with your spouse, or your family. We would highly recommend them and will be back when we bring...

The motel is okay for what it is. We stayed in room 129, an apartment on the front left corner of the property.

Pros: *Fairly isolated beach, so the crowding is light *Direct access to the beach *The air conditioning was great *The fridge and kitchen were clean *They have a small swimming pool, 8ft deep *They have beach chairs to borrow along the side of the building. We brought our own chairs, but ended up leaving them so others could enjoy the beach in Tommy Bahamas. *The staff were very friendly and helpful when giving recommendations on where to eat *The deck by the beach with chairs were nice to watch the sunset *There were plenty of towels in the room

Cons *Bad Wifi- I was working remote and couldn't access any of their wifi routers. When I could connect, the connection was extremely slow and no web pages would load. I ended up having to use my phone's hotspot. All of their routers are unsecured, so please do not send any sensitive information via their Wifi. I hope they secure and upgrade their wifi as this was a major con for me. *Zero sound proofing. If you happen to have a family with children above or beside you, you will absolutely hear them jumping, talking, and stomping. All night long. Our family members were not happy and were woken up or couldn't fall asleep because of the noise transference between the walls and the above floor. *There was a fluorescent light bulb out in the bedroom and the ceiling fan was missing half of a pull cord. The mirror in the main space looked like it fell and crashed the side moulding. It's very noticeable and there are pieces missing from the crash. Easy fixes, so not terrible *The bathroom sink is very small and will not hold much of your toiletries. It would help if there was a small shelf to the left of the sink on the wall. *The bed was very firm, but didn't hurt when I woke up. *Parking lot is small so if you have an SUV please be mindful of where you park. Some people were blocking a lane with two SUVs to the right of the entrance *The floor wasn't completely clean, as there were black smudges on the floor around the couch and chair. *The bedroom remote doesn't have a sleep timer function. If you usually fall asleep with it on, you will...

4 Star because I understood the quality I was booking for the price . This is the least expensive motel/hotel on Clearwater beach and please be assured, it is directly on the beach and is a Motel! The building is old, the rooms are older and the amenities are older. Someone mentioned "going back in time" and I agree with this statement. We stayed as a family of 4 in one room with 2 queen beds. No issues with room as it was dated but served us well for what we needed and had a kitchen. The main negative is the bathroom and understanding why they have not replaced the OLD toilets that look original to the building. I mean c'mon, a toilet at Home Depot is maybe $80 and would make a big difference! Window AC unit that worked but had a hard time cooling all the way to the bathroom and showers. I would go back again because you literally walk out of your room (maybe down stairs) and the beach is right there. Very convenient to be able to go back and forth to your room for snacks, drinks, bathroom and anything else. The pool is OK but the chlorine is enough to turn your hair yellow...I could barely breath when in the pool so it was a shock even though the kids didn't seem to notice. The credit card keys they gave us for our room did not work and after the 3rd try they just gave us the master key to the room.......I think this is a regular occurrence because others talked about it happening to them too. Overall this is a low dollar motel right on the beach. If you are OK with that then you will have a good time. If your wife is not OK with a motel than make sure to pick somewhere else. You will see your neighbor a lot and all rooms face the courtyard so it is not exactly quiet. We had 1 neighbor that was a bit strange so I kept my eye on him. We enjoyed our time and the kids loved being right on the beach as it was very convenient. Sunburns all the...

Our trip overall was great. The location was amazing! The staff that we encountered were nice. The only thing that we had an issue with, is that the sink in the bathroom was very slow draining so we just used the shower to wash our hands, and the water in the shower was pretty cold. It got luke warm at best. Trying to shower two toddlers in cold water was a little difficult. Other than that - this place is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The most beautiful sunsets on the planet. I love that they have a quiet time at 10pm - it was very quiet at night, other guests were so friendly. It was honestly one of the most enjoyable stays we’ve had in a long time! We will definitely be back! We’ve also referred my parents and their friends - I am excited to see what they think. I forgot to add - here are some of the things we noticed after getting there and we were not prepared - also some of the rules they have. They do not have towels for the beach or the pool. If you need a towel, you have to go upfront and ask for one) they do not have chairs on the beach. You need to bring everything with you. They offer a couple of chairs to take, but they were rusted and broken. No hair dryers or anything, you get those only if you book so many days at a time. It’s very secluded so you have to travel to get anywhere, nothing is within walking distance. Absolutely NO smoking whatsoever. You have to leave the property or you will be charged a large fee (I do not smoke, this is just for smokers who read this review), very small mini refrigerators. You cannot fill your coolers with ice, only small buckets and the office closes at 8pm - so you do not have access to towels or ice after 8pm.

We have vacationed in Clearwater numerous times and always enjoyed it more before all the growth. Belleair Beach reminds me of what we loved about vacationing here. Belleair Beach Resort is a fantastic find with large rooms and unbelievable sunsets. The motel has some age on it, as it was built in the early 70s, but it is well maintained. The suite was large and well appointed with a full size couch, chair, end tables, coffee table and a small dining table for two. The kitchen has a full sized refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker, they also provide some plates, glasses, coffee cups and flatware but NO Paper towels. The bedroom had a very comfortable king sized bed with nightstands a chair and both the living room and bedroom had flatscreen TVs. The bathroom was very….very small with very limited space to hang clothes or towels. The location offers a great beach front area but due to the fact it’s surrounded by homes and condos you have to drive a mile or three to grab something to eat. Overall it was a great value and we will definitely stay here again.
