As a group of 4 couples, we reserved 4 rooms well over two months in advance at this Quality Inn. Upon arrival we had difficulty checking in at the quoted price. We specifically reserved rooms (4) for 3 nights because they advertised an indoor pool and hot tub. Upon arrival we found that the hot tub was not working and had not been for several days. We were told by the desk clerk that the maintenance man would be there the next day with parts to repair it. We checked in on a Thursday and stayed through Sunday - the hot tub never got fixed. The "indoor pool" was ICE COLD - mot heated. We mentioned that to the desk clerk and she told us that they shut the heat off in the pool over a week ago because the water reached 90 degrees. We were unable to use the indoor pool because of the temperature. They FINALLY turned up the pool's thermostat on Saturday - one day before we left! The "exercise room" is no larger than a SMALL closet - with three pieces of equipment and barely enough room for two people to move from machine to machine. The "bar" was only open from 3pm to 10pm and the desk clerk had to man both the front desk AND bartend - - and the desk and the bar are at separate ends of the complex! In two of the rooms, the "in-room" refrigerator's did not work! In one room, no matter how the fridges thermostat was set - it literally FROZE everything in it spoiling food that had been placed in it. In the other, the fridge defrosted itself in the middle of the night and soaked the carpet beneath it. And no - we did not leave the door of the fridge open! We were misled on the facility and totally dissatisfied! I would NOT...
Read moreLooks aren't everything, the establishment looks like a nice place from the outside but wait till you walk thru the door. The staff didn't look professional at all, there's a horrendous lack of staff. They have a bar inside that's only staffed on Saturdays, the front desk clerk was the bartender, she was sitting at the bar on her computer checking her FACEBOOK while customers were waiting to be served, and being over weight and dressed in a house dress/ moo moo and slippers doesn't really bring in the customers, OMG I thought we stepped into a trailer park. While we were sitting by the bar a group of 7 people from the wedding in the other room ended up walking out after 10 minutes because they bartender wasn't around. Cleaning our rooms, well I mean empting the trash is all that was done, the bed spread was just thrown back onto the bed upside down. The sink drain was clogged, fortunately we were able to fix that, You're Welcome maintenance staff, oh that's if you have one if the front desk clerk doesn't do that also. Their Continental breakfast was a joke, saw the front desk clerk open those little 6 pk of Debbie doughnuts and put them into a basket, (which I'm thinking came from the gas station cross the parking lot), toaster didn't work very well and the waffle maker broke. Would not recommended this...
Read moreBooked a 2 room suite and couldn’t use the shower so had to switch to 2 regular rooms. While the manager was helpful and kind the whole experience was not good. The rooms we got switched to had hardly any room to move. I have an autistic child who paces to calm down and he couldn’t in the new room. The dresser drawers kept opening on their own, I lost track of how many times I ran into them and got hurt. I have bruises on my legs from them. The manager was very nice but 2 staff were incredibly rude. Went to the restaurant one night and the employee there was so rude and nasty and made us so uneasy that it put my daughters anxiety over the edge and she couldn’t even stay there and enjoy her food. No where when booking did it say there was no elevator and walking the stairs with luggage with a bad knee and back was horrible. The positives were the rooms were fairly clean and the manager was kind and did his best to accommodate not being able to stay in the suite. It’s just not enough to ever want to return to that hotel especially considering that the issue shouldn’t have even existed in the...
