I researched the Internet for a furniture repair business close to Killeen and I found Furniture Care of Texas. We needed work done on our early American maple kitchen set with four chairs we had purchased years ago from an estate sale. My husband has a chest of drawers that is 73 years old that he has had since he was a young boy. The stain on the kitchen table and chairs was an ugly worn out dark brown. Also, several of the chair spindles were coming loose from daily use. The dresser needed to be repaired since there was a piece of wood broken off near the bottom edge. I also asked if they could loosen several drawers that were sticking whenever opening and closing them. The kitchen table already had a veneer top so the new stain that was applied to the legs of the table and all four chairs matched perfectly. Also no one would ever guess that the chest of drawers was repaired. We made due with our set of vintage tin snack trays and folding chairs while the kitchen set was being refinished.
