The Big Elk Lick Campground — Hotel in Benezette Township

The owners of Big Elk Lick Campground, Candy and Rick, consider their campers to be their guests during their stay. Over the many years that I've camped there, I consider big elk lick campgrounds to be my home away from home. Their facility has all the amenities, a beautiful campgrounds, a bathhouse with kitchenette and living area, electric sites, as well as primitive. Absolutely amazing experience at Big Elk Lick. My friend and I were riding our motorcycles along the PA Wilds BDRX and stopped here for a night. We were greeted by the owner, Candy, who was as lovely and nice as could be. She gave us a quick rundown of her property and some suggestions of stores for popping out and getting groceries for dinner.

Really really a nice campground. The owner is such a nice person. The grounds were clean, quiet and neat, the trails were great, the shower hot. Wifi was available.
