Willow Tree Country Inn — Hotel in Bennett

I reserved a room 0n 7/20/14 for the next evening. Gave the gal on the phone my visa card with security number. Was told checkin was between 4-9pm. Called in the AM to confirm max check in time (call was cut off due to poor service) and got to hotel at 7pm and no one was there. The cell number they gave me to Jerry's phone was not answered over a 45 minutes time. Left waiting in the dark, no room, no answer and tired after driving 12 hours! Decided to continue into Denver. They finally called back to say they had given our room (that was being held with a credit card) away to someone else! What horrible customer service - no apology, just to bad! Unbelievably insensitive and possible because we are gay (which they did know). Hmmmm.........I would avoid unless you like having your confirmed...

We loved our stay at the Willow Tree as we were greeted with warmth & Blessings. Our apartment was very clean & cozy. We enjoyed the beautiful country & the best hospitality ever. Debbie & Jerry were so helpful & kind. We also enjoyed seeing the farm animals & took walks to enjoy the fresh country air. Beautiful accommodations- the rooms were filled with wonderful furnishings. We will always stay at the Willow Tree Inn when we visit Colorado. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience we enjoyed...

I've described this to others as a DB&B since I had dinner there as well as breakfast and a bed. Both meals were great and the bedroom comfortable and attractive. In fact, the whole place was comfortable and attractive including outside areas for sitting or strolling. To me the slightly remote location and the quiet it provided was a big plus.
