Wingate by Wyndham Bentonville Airport — Hotel in Bentonville

In the middle of a massive storm system moving in and no rental cars this is the place to stay as their 1.7 mi from the airport. I was absolutely exhausted after 24 hours of travel and not being able to be picked up because my ride was stuck behind a heavy flowing river and these wonderful people checked me in early and gave me a great room. I think the staff is absolutely first-rate. The only challenges I had with this place is that they really cheapened the amenities like the coffee maker coffee and didn't even have a spoon. There was no way to make hot water except microwave it. On the upside, the sheets were great and they actually had feather pillows which was really amazing. Overall a good experience I just wish that they would actually step up to the plate versus cheapening down the simple things that are necessary to make a room a great experience. For $136 I would have expected to at least had plastic spoons and the ability to make hot water without having to microwave it. This is a corporate decision and doesn't reflect on the really great staff it does affect on corporate budgeting which really decreases the value of the property. I hope they step up to the plate a little better than this in the future. Also the other complaint was that the building was undergoing construction and water was leaking into the swimming pool from the amount of rain that they've had. This is pretty crazy to be charging this amount of money and have amenities not being able to be utilized on the property. This should have been automatic discount for the people that were staying there during the same convenience. It would have been nice to have...

Parking/walking up to it didnt seem bad. Then you get inside. And you get that sinking feeling that something is off.

Floors in the lobby and elevator quite dirty. Always makes you feel better riding in an elevator that had a certificate expire six months ago

Fourth floor hallway had webs with insects in them on the way down to our room. In the room, cheap laminate flooring looked dirty and was chpping in multiple places, however it didn't feel 'sticky' like the other reviewers typically mentioned. Furniture looked from mid-2000s - main dresser middle drawer couldnt close. Desk lamp between beds with non-functioning outlets. Said desk also had clear soft drink stains from before us still on it.

Bathroom door would not shut and kept getting jammed. Joints in the walls were visibly separating with paint gaps. Water took forever to get hot in the shower, and couldn't give our kids a bath because the drain was jammed open/couldn't be turned and drainsd slowly. The A/C did at least work but made a weird rattle when turning off. You could tell the room had been through multiple renovations bc of a poor job finishing, fixtures and handles that didnt match, etc.

Bedsheets had body hair in them (not ours, to be clear). Pillows and bed felt ok. Looked at sheets and couldn't see anything crawling, but it was still just a place that left me feeling itchy throughout the whole night because of everything else. The price was good and the location by XNA is great, but you just feel dirty here. I'd recommend finding another...

This place is the DIRTIEST hotel I ever been in, period!! and I've been in many as my job require tons of traveling..the 1st room that they gave me was a bit better than the second one..however, the 1st room a/c is not working..i tried to report it by calling the front desk from my room phone, it rang for 5 minutes, but the woman that work on the front desk wont pick up..i then took initiatives to call using my cell, and she picked up on 2 ring..40 mins later they moved me to the second room..on this room, the carpet on the room has many dark spot as if it were never vacuumed ever..!! just simply NASTY..!! Some people has mention that the bedding need an update, but the truth is that they used bedding that is used mostly in Motels..!! Same goes for the tv..if you are planning to watch something, just beaware that the tv comes with a High pitch noise that wont go away..!! I then came back to the front desk asking if there is any clean room I can stay in, but she answer rudely that the hotel is booked that I jave no choose but to sleep in that nasty room..At this time, I have less than 10 hours until my morning flight..And yea, no choice for me but to stay in that disgusting room.. I don't have the highest expectation for hotel most of the time..However, I belive you should get what you pay for!! You should Not call your self a hotel and charge a hotel rate if you can only provide a cheap motel rooms to...
