The Maplewood Golf Club & The Inn at Maplewood is a top-notch, all-inclusive destination for golf outings in New Hampshire. Our group has been visiting The Maplewood for over 30 years, even before the Inn was established. The golf course has improved consistently over the years. The Inn at Maplewood has been exceptional since it opened. Each room offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and fairways, and the Inn staff ensure that every room is beautifully maintained and individual needs are met.
The General Manager of the Inn, Dana Weekes, personally ensures that every guest and party has an outstanding experience. When planning a multiple-day golf outing, Dana works with each group to organize rooms, meals, and any personalized requests, such as specific types of food or arranging a birthday cake for a golfer's celebration.
Dana and her team are friendly and engaging, making everyone in the group feel welcomed and appreciated. When asked why we continue to choose The Maplewood, my response is always that Dana and her fabulous staff make each year's outing better...
Read moreMeticulously maintained, classic Donald Ross course. Hospitable folks, challenging greens. Great views of the Whites. Edited to add: beyond golf, Maplewood has hosted two work retreats for myself and my coworkers. Since the meetings were high-stakes, we had to have space to present, think, gather, and confer. Since I was paying for the overnight stays, the venue had to be not only excellent, but affordable as well. Dana Weekes and the team at Maplewood made sure on both occasions that our team had lovely overnight accommodations, a work space with great WiFi, comfortable seating, and great soft drinks and snacks, and both a sumptuous breakfast in the morning and a place to relax with drinks on the deck afterwards. Don't think of The Maplewood as "just golf"...it is, but it's also a great venue for any gathering . When you need the best, choose The Maplewood. You'll get the best, and at a fair price. Highly recommended, and...
Read moreThink of the worst public course you have played and just carry it over to this course. Pine straw fairways, small uneven tee boxes, the entire course is designed on the side of a mountain so all fairways are sloped so as to run off into what I assume is their rough. Very small greens, which are also sloped to coincide with the mountain. Poorly maintained, and the only interesting thing about this course is their par 6, which is not very challenging, straight away 3 shot to the green, which I eagled btw. As far a views of the mountains, not what you'd expect. Definitely not Owls Nest. Not sure how anyone could give this course a higher rating. Must be friends of the owners is all I...
