The Motel — Hotel in Big Sandy

This small town motel is excellent for certain types of stays I think. I was travelling through the area by myself. I am a middle-aged man. The hotel room was updated and clean. The shower is fantastic! Great water pressure. I doubt it would be my choice to stop with my family on a vacation just because the town is very sleepy and there is almost no good food options. The hotel seems to be owner operated. It’s nice to see a younger family trying hard and successfully doing a nice job with their business. The pricing is also very good. Great little motel to stay in as a travel nurse here in Big Sandy. I don’t know why another reviewer said they don’t allow service dogs because they do!
