We were traveling to Ely for my b-day weekend and we had booked this hotel online as it had good reviews and was more affordable than many places right in Ely and had nice family size rooms available. The plusses to this hotel, It is very quiet location wise so you will get a good nights sleep here. The beds were super comfortable and rooms were very comfortable. It includes breakfast with your stay but we all were tired from doing some driving and sight seeing so we all slept in and didn't take advantage of that to comment on that.Downfall-We had some hassles with check in. I had gotten an email after booking online saying the room with taxes for the bunkbed room would be 143.48 and so I had just over that on my card. But when you check in they actually needed more like 175 something on the card cuz they charge you a fee for incidentals and things that comes off when you check out. We weren't aware of that when we arrived so my husband had to transfer money from the bank to his card so could check in. And then when we checked out the 143.48 was what was charged to the original card we had booked it with anyways so was kinda hassle just with checkin part of it to get all checked in and thought it would just be all settled as had confirmation number and such and email ahead of time. But hotel was very clean and nice, is in good location close to Ely and close to a nice restaurant. Would have rated it higher but phone signal was poor had to actual go outside the place to make a phonecall cuz signal wasn't great that way other than that and wifi was kinda slow also and due to the issues with the check in process. Overall though was clean, quiet, and comfortable stay though just plan to have more than amount quoted on your email for initial check in I guess and you will be fine. Had plenty of hot water and Tv channels and Air conditioning worked great. Very quiet area and...
Read moreOverall a pleasant experience. Rooms were nice and clean, staff friendly and prompt. Lobby looks great and a nice continental breakfast with muffins and stuff. The handicap bathroom was AWESOME! Some drawbacks were the beds in the handicap room were to high and the plastic mattress protector kept sliding the bedding off the bed. Also the entrance we would recommend at least a handicap access door, would be handy for wheelchair access and for guests with a lot of luggage. Unfortunately because of Covid the Junction Bar and Grill was no longer able to offer a hot breakfast, hope that comes back soon. Also a wheelchair person has trouble taking out their service dog for a potty break. The end of the parking lot where the dog area is, drops off the asphalt and onto loose sand making it hard for the wheelchair to travel. And the sidewalk and the back door to the same area has the same problem, drops an inch and a half each, making it impossible to re-enter or get down safely. Other then that, we LOVE the place and...
Read moreWe stayed one night. Very clean and quiet-they actually have quiet hours from 10 p.m.-6 a.m.! Everything was working in the room and the beds were comfy. We didn't hear noise from the hallway or parking lot. The staff did not wear masks but there was a plexiglass window at the front desk and they handed each guest a separate pen and check in and out was touchless. Breakfast was grab and go-yogurt, coffee, cereal. The staff were very diligent about disinfection-we observed them cleaning door handles and the common areas. We were given a food dish, treats and waste bags for our dog plus a blanket to use if the dog sleeps on the bed-ours is not that spoiled-but what a nice touch! There was plenty of grass to walk the dog and a paved path to town was across the street. The location was close to a restaurant next door, a golf course across the street, and a grocery store (Zups) 5 minutes away-which was also immaculate. The drive from Ely was...
