Mattila's Birch Lake Resort — Hotel in Birch Lake (Unorganized Territory)

We stayed in a tent site for 2 weeks. My 8 year old and 6 year old loved the tent site, right on the lake!! The shower/bath house was always clean, never out of toilet paper or hot water. The campgrounds are also very clean. After the big storm last July, Don was out there right away making sure everyone was OK. They are great people, too. Always willing to talk, and help, if there is a need.

Also, the sauna was great. We plan on heading back this year for another 2...

This is a quaint, privately owned little campground in the North woods. It has that old fashioned feel with a little mom and pop gift shop, a sauna, and all of the perks that come from a family run business. It's a quiet campground where boating, kayaking, fishing and swimming are just a few of the fun things to do....

A quiet place to go and relax. Reasonable rates for cabins and campsites. If you need to charge your batteries on your boat,just bring an extension cord. Mattila's has been a family getaway destination...
