Budget Motel — Hotel in Birmingham

I rented a room because my mother was in Princeton..the next day my keys were taken from me at the hospital by an ex from years ago..and I asked the owner of the budget could he plz call me if my car and the person that stole it from me showed up..i explained about my mother's wheelchair our clothes and from the dg..receipt in my hand..200$ worth of cleaning stuff n my diabetic shoes..he said he didn't know anything...heres the thing all mine and my mother's stuff was sitting in the office..and I assume he saw this a money making opportunity because he lied..its sad when some one that owns a business and just steals just like Ronnie hilburn did..Ronnie even stole my speakers N jack..i hope you two are proud of yourselves for robbing n lying to a disabled woman and steal from the elderly..karma...

Can I give this place a 0 star rating??? I'm not to hard to impress.... I didn't have high expectations pulling into this place. It wasn't super cheap... Two bed was $60....we arrived late at the hotel and was only going to use it for a few short. Hours of sleep since we've been on the road for 12 hours and I was tired. So payed for a room and upon opening my door to my room I found a cockroach!! It was on top of the bed and VERY MUCH ALIVE! We asked for a refund and they refused to give us one.... So we left.

So if you enjoy rude people and are okay with bugs crawling on you all night. For sure stay...

Its old and the rooms are small. But it fits my needs and my budget. Its clean and no bugs, which is always a plus. Bad thing is that you dont have any control over the heater. And when your on the night shift and its freezing the last thing you want is to walk into a room thats freezing. Update... I have been here a little over a week now Turns out that they like to rent the rooms out by the hour if you know what I mean. First chance I get Im out of here. Ill stay 4 months...
