Theft issue. I left two blouses from Dillards (with tags on, in the hanging bag) in the closet when I left at 8am Sunday; by 12 when I got home I realized I had left them and immediately called the front desk. They took my contact info and told me that they would let me know if the clothes "Show up". I expressed my concern that they could be stolen and returned but was ignored. I called again 7 hours later and was told that housekeeping would not be in the rooms until Monday evening and gave contact info to a 2nd person. No contact by Tuesday night so I called and talked to another person who said they'd get back to me the following evening -- Wednesday night she texted that the guest area staff hadn't seen the clothes but she'd watch the lost and found (?). I texted her back and complained of the poor service b/c they could've just asked a maintenance person in the building to grab it out of the closet before it got stolen. The person on the text replied that the housekeeping staff were in there on Sunday and didn't find the clothes. That Is NOT what I was originally told. They're sugary sweet and claim to be Christian but they are NOT helpful (seriously, what does it take to send someone up to the room to grab the clothes?) and they LIED to me (which is it? Sunday they said housekeeping would be in there before Monday night and by Wednesday the story changed that housekeeping went in Sunday and didn't find it). Will NEVER stay here again, even for a conference. UPDATE--manager called me only after I left this review. She told me that they are not responsible for anything left in the hotel rooms and when I tried to kindly reply with clarification she cut me off and talked over loud and slowly (condescendingly) until I stopped talking saying that she already knew everything from my review. This happened at least 3 times. She said that her housekeeping staff "accidentally" threw away a bag from the closet. I tried to clarify that the clothing they threw away was hanging in hangers in the closet with a clear dry-cleaner-type bag over them so there's no way they accidentally grabbed a bag and threw it away but she did not want to hear it. I can't figure out why they as a Christian organization would THROW AWAY new clothes and not donate them or at least use the lost and found that 3 different staff told me about. Finally she offered to credit my card the approximate amount of the shirts and I said "fine, thank you, I'll take the credit" at the end of the call and she said NOTHING else, just HUNG UP. SO rude and condescending, it made me feel worse about this whole process. She did say that the housekeeping manager had emergency surgery Monday and that staff are short on Sunday, but her attitude and claiming to throw away a bag of clothes when they were actually hanging clothes in a clear bag still STINKS of a a lie. I'm still not convinced they weren't kept by someone there. Absolutely no apology whatsoever, just condescending slow talking AT me and not letting me say anything, wouldn't answer my questions as to why none of the 3 people I talked with before couldn't have told me about their manager or couldn't have left a note for...

Read moreVery friendly attendant at entrance. Helpful check in person. Check in was super fast and friendly. My room had 2 beds. Both beds were dressed in all white sheets. Very clean. Room smelled fresh. Room appearance looked well cared for.
Nice sized shower and comfortable shower head. Turning on the shower water was a breeze, and adjusting it to the perfect temperature was fast and easy. Bathroom had lots of counter space. Complimentary toiletries were well provided. Room had a mini fridge; perfect size for my beverages. No microwave, but I didn't need one. No tv, but I didn't need one (this was a perfect setting to meditate in prayer, worship, reading scripture).
In my room was a coffee maker, ice bucket, iron, ironing board. You can plug in your phone directly into your night stand table (very convenient feature). Plenty of lighting fixtures in room. Long mirror and hair dryer. The environment was overall relaxing and friendly. Nice place for a peaceful retreat to rest at. Kind and hospitable people.
Thank you!! ❤ Pastor's wife from...
