Hemlock Hill Cabin — Hotel in Blowing Rock

We recently stayed at the Hemlock Hill Cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our time spent here! There were two families, with 4 children under the age of 5, and this place was truly the perfect place for the kids (and adults) to relax and have fun! Between the different levels, the mossy yard, fire pit, tables, toys, and even children's plates/silverware, we really didn't have anything to worry about entertaining ourselves and the kids.

The location was ideal. Secluded enough for peace and quiet, and close enough to anything and everything you could want to do in the mountains of North Carolina. It doesn't matter the season, this is a great spot to call home while visiting this beautiful area. We talked about coming back with and without kids, as this place was a perfect for both groups.

After years of renting vacation cabins, this cabin by far was our favorite. The cabin is spacious so much so that you could easily have two couples and have your own living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms and use the kitchen as the common area. The cabin is dog friendly which is a bonus for us because we travel with our two little dogs. There is a hike that can be accessed within walking distance from the cabin. Shopping and nice restaurants are about 7-10 minutes away. Overall the cabin has everything you would want for a mountain getaway. It has privacy, space, several decks, hot tub, close proximity to hikes, shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be back...

The cabin was perfect for our family. It’s on a quiet street, and we really enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The cabin was impeccably clean, and we really enjoyed our time hanging out in the hot tub. The owners have thought of every detail, including toys for the kids to play with.
