Our time in West Virginia was truly fantastic, and the highlight of our stay was Bakers Hill Inn. Nestled in a gorgeous historic home in the heart of Bluefield, this inn offers an experience that far surpasses both hotels and Airbnbs. The caliber of amenities and the graciousness of the host make it difficult to imagine staying anywhere else. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with a level of hospitality that made us feel like royalty, with a genuine sense of our business being valued—something that's increasingly rare these days.||||Traveling with a toddler can be difficult as it sometimes can be challenging to find a location that is child friendly and even bringing our 2 year old was seamless. ||||Our room was nothing short of perfect. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated, offering the warmth of a home combined with the cleanliness often missing from even the best hotels. The view from the third floor, especially from the jacuzzi tub, was breathtaking. The steam shower was a revelation—I’m not sure I can ever go back to a regular shower after this experience.||||The breakfast at Bakers Hill Inn was another standout feature. I came back to my hometown for a family get together and my aunt recommended Baker’s Hill Inn. I’m so glad I took her advice and booked a room! The location is convenient to everything. The rates are reasonable. I can’t say enough about how beautiful the property is. Lisa is an excellent host who takes the time to get to know her guests without hovering or intruding on personal space. What impressed me most is the attention to detail here. From the custom bath mats to the Baker’s Hill branded candles every base is covered! If I have one nitpick it’s that the WiFi signal was somewhat weak in my room. It served the purpose though so it’s a minor quibble. In the past couple of decades Bluefield’s traditional hotels/motels have unfortunately fallen from the standards they once held themselves to.
