Stayed in cottage 4- 10 stars- a luxury feel but in a very cozy way ! Everything was there- including roasting sticks for the wonderful fire pit. Comfy chairs on porch and fire pit as well as the wonderful hot tub to enjoy under the dark sky of stars after a day of horse farm visits( Taylor made farm was a 10), drive down scenic pike byway, stopping at Wallace Station for lunch before our bourbon tasting at Woodford Reserve! On our way back from a full day stopped at Lovers Leap winery just a few minutes before arriving back at the cottage! We had planned to go to dinner after changing clothes but it is so perfect here outside the cottage we are just having a charcuterie board we picked up from Lovers Leap instead with a bottle Of their wine around the fire pit and hot tub. Followed by, if needed, leftover pizza heated on the Blackstone grill that’s On the porch! Doesn’t get any more perfect than this! The grounds and cottage are well kept and spotless! Just book it !!!!!

Our stay at the cottage was a truly peaceful and restful getaway to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary! The location offers nice privacy, and we greatly enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the surrounding area. The cottage itself was exceptionally clean and well-appointed with all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after our days out visiting some distilleries. We were particularly impressed by the host's thoughtful touches, such as the complimentary snacks and bottled water that were waiting for us upon arrival. We would highly recommend this charming cottage to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway!

Absolutely stunning property! My husband and I came from Indiana for our 4th wedding anniversary. We brought our doodle with us, he enjoyed laying in the yard and going for walks around the property. We enjoyed the sites, nature. While here we ate lunch at Bluegrass Sabor, had our Anniversary dinner at Serafini ( highly recommend both). We also check out Buffalo Trace Distillery ( also very cool, and partially dog friendly), Lovers Leap Winery, Rising Sun Winery. Much needed break and getaway. The cabin is very comfortable, as well and decorated beautifully. We can't wait to come back

QUAINT with a big touch of PERFECTION! As soon as we arrived at the entrance gate, I knew this experience was going to be something special. (My husband was definently questioning my choice on the way there especially when we passed the collection of small plastic cars in route) Your cottage was exactly what my husband and I needed for a get away. It was the perfect central location to get out and hit the Bourbon trail and visit the best distilleries. If you are not a Bourbon person, Lovers Leap Vineyard is just down the Road. You don't get this kind of experience in a hotel. We pulled up to Cottage 2 and I was so excited about building a fire and using the hottub. Walking inside the cottage I paused and squealed. I immediately noticed all the attention to detail! The more time I spent in the cottage the more I appreciated the all the little things you did. Well done! From the personalized sign welcoming us, to the snacks, bottled water, the kitchen essentials (Spices and Condiments) Coffee and the fixins, fresh ice, great rocks glasses, the bourbon barrel sink, the make up cloths the fire starters, the bluetooth speaker and of course the endless supply of firewood delivered by a cute guy on a tractor. ;) Thank you Bourbon Barrel Cottages for going above and beyond to make our stay special. Your hospitality was endless! Your passion for this property truly shines. Sorry that my husband ate almost all of the Taffy. ( You can bill me) Can you please give me the recipe for the fire starters. (You could probably sell those to our military) I failed to mention the basics like the exceptional cleanliness, organization and comfort. We will visit again and recommend your property to everyone...

Amazing stay, property, and tour!! We recently stayed at Bourbon Barrel Cottages and had the absolute best time. From the time of the initial booking, the communication was quick and professional, with great follow-up regarding if there was anything we needed or had questions about, etc. - I really appreciated that. Check-in was also a breeze! We also signed up for a custom tour that is offered through the company, and Jay, our guide, was fantastic! We visited a number of distilleries, both "known" and smaller, and had a BLAST! I highly recommend a personal tour, even if you are a seasoned bourbon enthusiast, as it allows you to relax and learn some new things while tasting all the various offerings. The cottages themselves are on a beautiful piece of property and the grounds are breathtaking. The cottages are new, modern, and wonderfully maintained (and very clean!). It was a very peaceful, relaxing stay and we enjoyed being able to sit on the porch at the end of the day and just enjoy the scenery and enjoy nature - it felt like our own private retreat. It is clearly evident that the cottages and tour(s) are a labor of love from the owners...this was a highly personalized experience that I highly recommend. If you are considering, go for it! Thank you for such an incredible stay...

Everything about setting up this trip with Jay and Angie was pleasant and easy. I specifically selected their location due to the gorgeous property and the availability of some add ons to complete a surprise trip. I opted to have a bottle of bourbon, cake, and decorations set up at the cottage for arrival to surprise my boyfriend for his 30th birthday and it was so worth it! I chose a carrot cake and wasn't sure this unique cake flavor for a birthday would be possible but they pulled it off and it was the best cake we have ever had! I also added the luxury van tour. This allowed us both to be present and enjoy our bourbon touring experience without the hassle of driving and managing our own schedule. As an added bonus, our driver Roger was so personable and a great companion for the day. However, even if you aren't looking for all the extras I wanted from this special trip, the cottage and property are worth visiting for a peaceful getaway. We enjoyed walks around the property, seeing the animals, and watching the sunset from the hot tub. This is by far one of the best trips we've taken and I look forward to...
