This is an absolutely beautiful cabin. My while family loved staying there.We swam, visited the island out front, fished, had a bonfire every night and enjoyed everything. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed to cook with. Rooms were large and comfy. Had two bathrooms. The bunk house was amazing. We didn't use it but the kids talked big game about staying in it alone. My oldest loved the history books about the shipwrecks and Island history. He's a reader and enjoyed them once it got dark. We had a fantastic time at the Lake Effect Lodge on Bois Blanc Island. This property is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and convenient. The sparkling Lake Huron water is right outside the door. Gorgeous sunsets from the front porch. We ate all of our supper meals on the porch, enjoying the lake view and breezes. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, spices and dishwasher! We rented this place in late October 2022. This was our Deer camp . This home is beautiful inside and out colors were spectacular on the island we had bonfires most every night we hunted deer with our bows we fished and caught some perch we also went duckhunting and goose hunting.
