Super 8 by Wyndham Bolivar — Hotel in Bolivar

I stayed at this hotel on June 26th, 2015. My friend and I were passing through and we had to make an emergency stop on Bolivar due to her being ill. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful and they were able to get us into a room quickly. However, upon returning home I discovered that I had been bitten by bed bugs. I have since been to a doctor to confirm this. I have over 50 bites on my body. I have been no where else, but this hotel and home and we have had it confirmed by an exterminator that they are not in our home, so this leads up to believe they had to come from the Super 8. The manager has been very kind on the phone, but the manager and her supervisor have refused to give me a refund and claim that they do not have bed bugs. All I wanted was a refund to help reimburse me for my doctors office copay and prescription medication to treat the bites, but because they have refused I feel I have no choice but to make sure others are aware of what happened to me after staying at this hotel. While we were there our experience was fine, but the bed bugs have unfortunately overpowered the good we experienced and I urge you to reconsider before staying...

😡😥Looked for the price of this motel online of the 3 motel this looked like the nicest motel for the price. My daughter stayed her before and the room was only 65.00. Price on web was 55.00 but when I got here the price was 100.00 and that was with my triple A discount. When I told them my daughter got the room for 65.00 they said that probably a week day. And because of basketball ternimate. Then the room was dirty, smelled like cigarette smoke which I am alergic. When I told them they said they could move us. Suppose to be totally smoke free think it is there carpet and bedding. Then are sheets & blankets were dirty had to but clean sheets on bed. The sink was dirty to and carpet dirty looking. Toilet seat lose so u had to be careful. Lousy breakfast only one waffle maker and fake orange juice. Tooks us a long time to eat because other people wanted the waffle maker too. That was the only good thing to eat. Definately not worth 100.00. I should have stayed at comfort Inn. I asked for a late check out since we had to make our own beds but the answer I got was they would check with house cleaning and let me no by 8am never heard...

I have stayed here 8 nights in the last 30 days. I have not been bitten by any bed bugs as another review suggested nor have i seen even one bug of any kind here. The beds and rooms are clean ! Everything is In working order. Professional friendly staff. The maid ran and got me a bucket of ice my first day here when she saw my condition. My vehicle had issues and I had no AC in hot July! My vehicle needed to go into the shop a 2nd time and i came back here to stay while it was getting re-fixed. The foreign gentlemen working here (students at the nearby Baptist college?) were very kind and helpful when I asked any questions or needed anything. They were Never rude and i never felt any discrimination toward myself while here (as another review suggested). I continue to choose this hotel over others when in the area because of the value and consideration of staff. Location is about 45 min to Branson 20 min roughly to Springfield or Springfield Airport. I gave 4 star on room because mattress was a bit hard for my personal preference however It didn't stop me from sleeping or...
