The campground is older, but seems well maintained. The campsites are small, and very close together. The foliage does help. Cell service is very good, as Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T have towers just a few hundred feet away. Like the other campgrounds at LMNRA, Callville is close enough to Vegas to attract a lot of locals, some of whom don’t know campground etiquette. You’re almost certain to have someone playing music and/or running their generator too late. It’s proximity to the Lake attracts lots of boaters, too. The likelihood is high that some of them will drink too much and be obnoxious. How much of this you’ll have to endure depends on the campground host or your own backbone. I recommend having that discussion with the host when you arrive. Let them know you expect them not...

Very quiet CG away from the LV side of Lake Mead. nice sites, with water, trash and toilets and free rv dump station, but no full trailer hookups. Showers and laundry over at the marina area (UPDATE: still closed as of FEB 2022). Marina has a small store with the normal necessities. Gas is available in lot C. NPS CG is $20/$10 senior. 30d camping limit. Marina trailer park may have some full hookup RV sites. Update: Feb 2022....seems most camp sites are Reservation, only #1-2 are FF..cash only!. ..also there is free WIFI also but only for 1/2 hr, then need to pay.....however, cell signal on att, tmobile and verizon are all 5-bars LTE so who needs WIFI! One issue though is if you get a FF site (#1-2 only) it is CASH ONLY..so come prepared with $20s/$10s....camp host on...

The camp location isn't great, ( Futherest from the water at the 3 we stayed in.), but the awful treatment by the camp host really but a damper on the last days of our trip to the lake. As soon as we arrive, we usually seek the host out to let them know our dying father is on high oxygen, making it so we have to run a generator longer than usual times permit. Totally within ADA rights. This guy actually proceeds to tell us that it doesn't matter if he's crippled if we can't follow exact rules, we don't belong there. We asked him to get a ranger. Unsurprisingly, he realized he was so wrong after going to talk to someone. The park needs to possibly work on training their volunteers not to bully handicapped old men. We'll be in contact with the park about this when...

We visited the campground for 3 days in early March 2018. We love it there! Plenty of sites large enough for decent sized RVs and travel trailers along with smaller sites for tent camping. Several trees and shrubs separate the spaces and provide privacy. Not much for shade, so I would imagine the summer would be a bit warm. Very polite and helpful camp volunteer that stopped by to let us know what was available in the area. Nightly fee was $20 when we stayed. Will come back if we are in the area.
