Whether you are looking for your next favorite Kentucky wine or simply a respite from the road (the vineyard is only a mile from the interstate), Bluegrass Vineyard is worth a stop. For $6, you can choose 6 wines to taste, as well as a snack (crackers, pretzels, etc). Additional wine samples may be purchased for $1 each. There are many offerings including your standard spectrum of reds and whites, but I think where Bluegrass Vineyard really shines is capturing distinct fruit flavors in a way that allows each wine to stand out from the next. The most difficult decision is deciding on just 6 when there are so many intriguing options! The winery/bar appears to have been converted from the garage of a quite nice home. We were told by one of the servers that the home is rented through a BnB style site. The servers have always been responsive, helpful and quite pleasant. Gracie in particular won us over with her southern charm and authenticity. We enjoyed not only learning more about the winery, but also great conversation with the staff. If you are in the area, stop in for a tasting! Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone in your choices. You may just find a new favorite wine!

Veteran owned - so a super plus for me! (THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE)! Besides that a great find (last minute snack) after a cave tour - tucked away in the plush, green countryside of KY! Amazingly surprising - my husband and I tried a flight each - my favorites were the blackberry wine - light (smooth) not too sweet, had a little tart note at the end but not bitter. The Apple Pie wine - you can taste the apple and typical apple pie spices - yum! We’ve tried other places that have a variety of fruity wines but none taste like the fruit - this one did very distinct and not disappointing. A little bonus the flights are served on a wooden likeness of the state of Kentucky!

We came with high expectations after seeing a five star rating. The staff was friendly, and interior of the shop was cute and tasting prices were good. The wines weren’t our favorite, though. My husband and I prefer drier wines, but we also like some semi-dry. These wines just didn’t have much body to them and a couple finished like a cheap wine. Overall, they were more on the sweet side than we prefer for dry wines (we stuck with the dry wines on the list with the exception of the Rhubarb). Rhubarb appeared to be semi-dry on the list, but was very sweet. In fact, we both felt like we had just tasted a mulberry candle from Walgreens. If you love sweet wines, this may be the place for you. It is cute, prices are decent, employees are nice, and it appears they are working on adding more outdoor space. If you prefer drier wines, I am not sure there will be much for you here. Everything about this place was fine. It just...

I rented their venue out for a party and everyone there was so nice and helpful, I had Andrea, Kiara and Jessica the owner all helping with my set up and seeing if I needed anything at all! You can rent the outside with 12 picnic tables or the inside with tables and air-condition or both (which is what I did) and it was so affordable, I also hired them to Bartend for me because they supply all the liquor and are very responsible with what your needs are, mine was an open bar but you can have your guest pay if you want, they also set up corn hole outside for my party and they have a basket ball goal also for those teens that aren't interested in having grown up fun lol, I also rented a DJ and they made sure he had a great spot to set up, and I hired a food truck and they accommodated a place for him for my party, I definitely recommend if you need an affordable nice place to have an event, to call them and...
