Bluegreen Gulfstream Manor — Hotel in Boynton Beach

Don't waste your time or money here. It was dirty, small and outdated. Sugar Ants, filthy windows and the property manager wouldn't meet with us. Our front door didn't lock and the floors were filthy. We had to wash our feet before bed. The refrigerator doesn't open fully and the ice maker didn't work on arrival so we bought a bag of ice. The day before Thanksgiving and after we bought Thanksgiving dinner (with zero notice to us), they told us the refrigerator was being replaced because the ice maker didn't work. Our food sat on the counter over an hour while this happened and it turned out the water line for the ice maker was crushed (more poor maintenance) and there was filthy water all over the floor. The housekeeper uses a broom with a towel to mop floors. She was going to come back after the refrigerator was replaced and she didn't. We had to ask the front desk to bring us something to clean the floors with! The windows were so dirty we couldn't see through them and the maintenance man's idea of washing windows was to hose them down - no washing or drying - just hose them down. He did this by the front door and left a puddle in front of our door for 3 days before it dried up on its on and they don't provide indoor mats! It took 3 days to spray for ants and they came back a week later. How do you like ants crawling on you while watching TV? There is no security and the staff never tells you there is no one on site 24/7. Find out your front door doesn't lock 10 days into a 2 week stay with no security on site and they were somewhat aware of that problem! This was the worst two week stay we've ever had. It should not be listed as a Bluegreen Property and it is definitely not a quality...

Very very very relaxing place! The property is wonderful! RM 212 is the best view! Love this place. Quiet and relaxing. Nancy and staff are always friendly. Beautiful views of the ocean. Clean well kept grounds. Friendly staff. Nice villas. Relaxed atmosphere and great place to stay over the weekend or holidays. Amazing experience The staff are nice. The room really clean and comfortable. You have everything you need and the beach right behind. What else can you ask for if you want to relax. Restaurants are close by even though we travel to Texas Road house but we didn't mind because that's what the majority wanted. Very very very relaxing place! The property is wonderful! Check-in was well timed and they met the promise of checking in on time. Our unit was very clean and well appointed. They provided two carts for 22 units so it went very well and very quickly. Front office staff was very nice and explained everything carefully so you would be able to check in and settle in rapidly, a few issues with the Wi-Fi we worked out eventually. The bad weather on and off didn’t help. The winds were high on occasion. The pool was super clean and the patio and furniture was all in wonderful condition. The umbrellas helped take away the brutal sun around the tables by the pool. The Jacuzzi was warm, but not boiling hot. The turn on for the Jacuzzi was a bit apart, but necessarily so. Access to the beach was fabulous. There were turtle tracks watched over by volunteers on ATVs. Yes honored their request to stay away from the areas noted by stakes. People there are friendly and most have owned here long time and come back every year at least once. Gulfstream/Delray Beach is beautiful and quiet.
