This spot is a must stay location at least once. The lake is beautiful, and the water is a perfect mix of comfortable (in the swim area) and it has all of the exciting areas a lake should have (mysterious island in the middle of the lake). The service is good and I would of gave it 5 stars but there is one member of the staff who is not professional in the slightest. The rooms get a 3 because they are cozy little cabins and it has the look of being rustic but at the same time, the beds are abhorrent, the bugs are serious and the slanting of the units is a little scary. Overall I do highly recommend staying for one night, it's a wonderful experience.

This was a wonderful little campground! We were able to get bundles of firewood delivered straight to our campsite and there are fire pits at each cabin and tent setup. The bathrooms just a few minutes walk from the tents and cabins (but much closer to the RV camping section) but they are easily accessible and clean. The Casino Grill is a reasonably priced and has your last minute essentials including ice, some food items, some beach toys, etc. The beach can get crowded when the weather is nice, but campers don't have to pay to use the beach as it's included with you rental fee.

Love this lake! Cheap and can see through the water. Can fish, boat, and swim. We have only gone their to swim. U can also camp there as it is a camp ground but we haven't camped there yet. There food is really good. Also the owners/workers are so nice and friendly, very down to earth. We go here about 4 to 5 times a summer. I definitely recommend!

Wow! I’m absolutely disgusted! Extremely dirty nothing was clean. Broken kitchen table, broken fridge. Leaking toilet & clogged sink. We will never return to cabins. Stayed 2 out of 7 nights waisted our money. There are sink holes in the floors the beams are all rotting & slanted did not feel safe nor comfortable there at all! This is our 5th time staying in this same cabin we have not been there for the past three years due to Covid I guess I was expecting things to be updated a bit after them not being touched at all whatsoever for the past eight years I think the newest thing that I seen in there out of the eight years that has been replaced was a microwave. The owners are great people super kind & friendly came & fixed the sink & the wife did come & wipe fridge down & sweep. Let’s just say that whole place needs a complete makeover things need to be scrubbed & others thrown away and replaced!!! I don’t think it would hurt to spend a little bit of money in that cabin you can go to a consignment shop and buy a cheap kitchen table that isn’t slanted as well as a used fridge. ||||There are just no words to how uncomfortable and unsafe we felt everything in me wanted to say something and try to get a refund but my husband told me to just leave it alone and we would just never return to the cabin. There are cobwebs everywhere which I understand it is a wooded area but when there’s cobwebs visibly all in the bathroom part of cleaning is getting down cobwebs that have spiders all in them. I wiped down the outside of the fridge where the handle was and my antibacterial wipe was black let’s just say the cleaner has not thoroughly cleaned that cabin and many many years nothing was wiped down on the outsides the countertops underneath the toaster was full of crumbs I could honestly go on and on but I’m pretty sure I’ve painted a great picture for you. ||||Do not stay here if you have children the structure is unsafe & it’s extremely dirty! Honestly it would be a fantastic place if they would just put a little bit of...

Decided to take my nephew camping at the end of August for a quick get away before the end of the summer. I looked at a few campgrounds over the Internet before deciding on Lake Massasecum, I'm am so glad we decided on this one !!!|| Everything about the campground is awesome from the moment you arrive until the time you depart was top notch. The owners, Linda and Melody are the main reason for this. They are warm and laid back but make you feel like you are family ...||We had a secluded tent site with water, nice and rustic. Large spacious tent site with a quick walk to the beach, office to buy wood/ice or the showers. ||These full restrooms are the cleanest I had ever seen, well maintained !!!||There are a number of seasonal sites , which made the experience ever better with all the friendly campers waving and will greet you with a hello when you walk past them waking by. ||The price is so reasonable , one does not want to leave this little piece of heaven....||The sandy beach is clean and debris free with a clean lake to go boating or swimming in !!||At the office or Casino as they call it, you can buy sundry items as well as a nice menu of sandwiches and snacks to enjoy, all were excellent. ||In closing I must say again, when looking at the many campgrounds to choose from in the great state of New Hampshire , try this one and you will be a life long...

We were in the begining of a two week camping vacation with our 5th wheel camper and working our way towards the ocean. I like to try a new campground on occasion and this fit what we were looking for. Not far off I89 and on the water. When we pulled in I realized it has a large sandy beach and a large following of day use people. The guy who met us knew we were coming and was super nice. He pointed us towards our large site that was easy to back into. The campground is mostly seasonal but we found everyone to be so nice. As we walked our dog or walked back and forth to the lake campers would wave and it was a very positive experience. The beach was stunning. I was in shock that something like this existed. We stayed 2 nights and now this place will be an annual stop for us. We loved it. We just stayed in mid...
