Rosewood Country Inn||Bradford, New Hampshire ||Four||||We loved the setting, the hotel itself and the people we met/management. ||||There are lovely grounds to relax in and enjoy. The surrounding area is beautiful to walk around in. Be sure to walk to the right for about 1/2 mile to be in a stunning area, especially at sunset. Very few cars on the road. ||||The rooms have such character, more than we have seen anyplace else Each one is different. Errol Flynn, Jack London and Mary Pickford (!) all stayed here, with wonderful pictures and objects in the rooms that they stayed in. Only thing to note is that with the idiosyncrasies of modernizing old buildings, in our room there is a big step into the bathroom from the bedroom. Wasn’t a problem for us, but something to be aware of for someone with mobility issues. ||||We are having a hard time assessing the breakfast, which is included in the price. Stuck between OK and not bad. The service and setting are wonderful. Eggs and coffee were OK. The muffins are overly sweet, coated with melted sugar. ||||There are a few restaurants in the area that management will direct you toward. The owner is informative and proud of the heritage of Rosewood Country Inn. He is amenable and helpful in suggestions for things to do locally. ||||Overall we had a very good stay there. This is a special place to stay in New Hampshire for a day or a few days any time of year. We imagine it to be stunning...
Read moreWe reserved this place solely on them having EV charging available. What we found was simply one of the best experiences we've ever had at any place we've stayed. The owners welcomed us even before we left. When I discovered that I had a mistake and needed to adjust my reservation, they made sure to combine the now two reservations into one to keep in the same room. They waited up for us to arrive when we realized we were going to be late, and and welcomed us warmly, showing us around as to what was where. Meals were prepped by the owners. They had real passion for ensuring we had the best possible experience possible. Once they knew we liked cars, we were even allowed to see his two classics, and conversations flowed about cars, the place, and their efforts to keep after their 166 year old Inn. We were actually sad to have to leave. Even the car didn't want to leave after it mysteriously rerouted back to the Inn, instead of to our intended destination for the day. As far as We're concerned, there is no other place to stay. We will always be staying at...
Read moreMy partner and I ended up at this Inn after a bad experience with another one. I found it on Expedia and thought it was beautiful, charming, and quaint. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Stan who was nothing short of exceptional. He gave us a tour and advised us of the times that lights were shut off and doors were locked. He was so incredibly pleasant. The next morning, we had our breakfast which was absolutely delicious and inquired more about using the space as a wedding venue. Stan was incredibly helpful and patient with me as I asked a million questions about things that are included and how the inn is used during the wedding. He was upfront and honest and answered all of my questions with a smile. He also provided me the contact information for any other questions that I may have. Odo was so kind and served us in the morning as well. I look forward to booking another stay here and...
