Fish Tail Inn — Hotel in Brazoria

We just got back from an incredible stay at the Fish Tail Inn in Sargent, Texas, and we can't stop raving about it! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a hidden gem.

One of the highlights of our trip was the easy access to the beach. Driving up and parking right by the water made it so simple to spend the whole day there. The beach itself was beautiful, and we loved being able to set up our spot and relax.

While kayaking wasn't a major part of our trip, we did rent one from the inn for a leisurely paddle through the canal. It was a fun and relaxing way to spend part of the afternoon, and we enjoyed the peacefulness of the water and the surrounding scenery.

Fishing was another big plus. We had so much fun casting our lines and even caught a few fish! It's a great spot for anyone who loves fishing, whether you're a seasoned pro or first timers.

The rooms were fantastic. They were super clean and had everything we needed to feel right at home. It was clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the place. We had all the amenities we could ask for, which made our stay really comfortable and stress-free.

Overall, we absolutely loved our time. It's a perfect place for a beach getaway, with plenty of activities and a wonderful atmosphere. We loved staying at the FishTail Inn in the Redfish room (our favorite fish to catch!) my husband, our 7 year old daughter, and I stayed here while visiting family on the intercoastal! The room is spacious and bright! We appreciated the many features of the room that we used: the microwave, coffee maker, and tv. While we spent time with family, we were amazed by all that was available to us at the Inn: ice, fishing poles (surf fishing poles as well!), an awesome fire pit and seating area with a beautiful mural, paddle boats and kayaks! We stayed for 3 nights and really had a good experience. The manager is very attentive and accessible. We had everything we needed and having the ice available was a very good addition to the hotel. Only suggestion I have would be to have paper cups that are individually wrapped for the coffee and to have had tissues in the room. All bedding was nice, towels were bright and new.
