I recently stayed here for a weekend they had live music on Sat and a yard Sale. Wish I had known about it sooner! I thoroughly enjoyed our visit .I have become a seasonal camper there now, I can leave my camper there all year if I renew my season for next year. Its a very safe campground a majority of the sites are seasonal.

Just returned from camping at this location and let me just say this was the WORST campsite I have ever stayed in. One star is too generous as a review for them! I stayed at this site for 4 days with 4 other families. First off the staff is EXTREMELY RUDE! From the moment I walked in to check in I was seen by a girl named Christina. She was extremely difficult and rude. She spoke coldly and kept repeating the rules of the campsite numerous times despite me telling her I understood the rules completely.

A few days before my stay I called the campsite regarding check in. One of the families we were staying with would be arriving at the site at approximately 11pm on the second day but would be staying in one of our cabins. We asked if this would be a problem, and the representative on the phone said it would not. Upon check in Christina proceeded to argue with us regarding the check in policy and gave us a hard time regarding parking passes for the camp site. All 3 families had similar bad experiences checking in as well.

During our stay a man in a truck I believed to be the manager drives around lurking at everyone. As soon as he felt we did something against the rules he’d freak out on us. I was driving up at a rate of 6 miles an hour and cause I was 1 mile over there speed limit rule he’s waving his hand telling me to slow down. He screamed at all 3 familes for the same reason.

Then on the last day while packing up and loading our stuff into our car we were harrassed by the staff. Check out time is 1 pm. At 12:55 pm 2 women on a golf cart came to our cabins and started yelling at us. I found out later there names were Judy and Wanda. We had already removed all of our belongings out of the cabin we rented and were simply throwing out the remaining garbage, and loading the last bags into our car. They stood and watched while we threw out the remaining garbage and loaded the last of our bags into our car. They also prevented one of the children from going back into the cabin to use the bathroom stating “We’re going to charge you extra for staying past check out time” It was 1:05 pm at that time. They did this to one of the other families we were with.

There was only ONE staff member that was kind and her name was Sheila, All other staff members were extremely rude and did not care about customer service.

Also super boring as there is nothing else to do there but the swimming pool. Not many activities and the arcade is awful.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY!

As for the response from the Owner:

Your rules and regulation page of your policy that was provided by your front desk says check out time is 1:00 pm not 11:00 am. Refer to my pic of your policy. If the owner doesn’t even know their own policy that says a lot.

No where on any papers your campsite provided even mutters the words checkout time is 11:00am. The words 11:00am are no where and I mean no where on your policy page. If this is the case for cabin users then why isn’t it written or even told to us by your front desk? It is extremely unclear that this 1:00pm check out time is only for your trailer and tent users. And if this is the case instead of 2 staff members on a golf cart coming up to yell at us to get out maybe it would be better if they spoke to us nicely, treated us with some respect and just let us know there was a...

For all Adventure Bound seasonal campers, weekend campers, and those debating on camping at any Adventure Bound campground. The manager at Oak Creek in Narvon, PA, Michael (Mike since he likes being called that) called my husband Joe and I the discriminatory gay slag word “faots ” in front of 2 staff members in September of 2021. I filed a complaint with Terry Jordan, (Adventure Bound Director of Operations), and with Adventure Bound CEO, Wayne Klekamp. Terry spoke with Michael and only one of the two staff members who were in the office when he called us Faots behind our backs. Terry never interviewed the 2nd staff member whom Mike stated this to. Terry stated he was not going to interview her, only Mike and the other staff member, even though she was the primary witness, because she is a minor and because he didn’t like her parents. Terry stated to me that he completed a full investigation (which he didn’t) and that it never happened and it’s he said she said situation and to move on. 2 months later, after we had already moved our camper out of ABOC, Mike sent the email below, banning us from returning to ABOC for causing “drama”. I reached out to Mike, Terry, and Wayne immediately asking for details on what we did that caused us to be banned because up to the Mike calling us a “fa**ot” incident we had been perfect tenants with no complaints. Weeks later and after multiple requests, we have had no response from any of them. Obviously they, and Adventure Bound, think that discrimination is acceptable and will continue to ignore my requests for an explanation. For all seasonal and day/ weekend campers at Adventure Bound Oak Creek. Please be aware, and cautious around the manager Mike and any of his favorites at the campground. They will turn on you in a heartbeat and get you banned from returning to ABOC for filing a complaint with the corporate office for being discriminated against. Watch your back. Ask any other seasonals at ABOC and get the real story on Mike and the stuff he does. Men of ABOC- watch your wives too. He loves to have affairs with married women of campers, which corporate is also aware of and does nothing about. || ||We never caused drama or any issues at any point during our tenure at ABOC, until I decided to make this public information today. Do not camp here or ANY Adventure Bound Camping Resort as they support discrimination and their managers having inappropriate sexual relationships...
