The Cabins at Seven Foxes — Hotel in Brevard

First let me say that the caretakers were unbelievably kind and sweet. And very accommodating so I cannot say enough good things about them. However I was very disappointed in the cabins specifically. We were looking forward to a family getaway where we could relax but upon our arrival we discovered that the heating unit did not work properly. The caregivers did bring us a portable unit but we froze for two nights and roasted for the third. We also had problems with the furniture in the second cabin as the springs were poking through in the sofa which made for a very uncomfortable area to have family time in. I think the thing that Disturbed me the most was the fact that when I turned back the bed there were blood stains on the sheets. And to top it off when we went to grill we discovered that only half of the burners worked. This was out first stay at Seven Foxes. So many lovely things about these cabins. We stayed in Deer Lodge and our son and his family in Racoon. Deer lodge is spacious, great hot tub. Very room for the "family gathering" and we had a birthday to celebrate. The setting is lovely and peaceful and (at least from Deer Lodge) you have not sense there are other cabins around, just lovely trees, quiet and nature. The cabin was well appointed, plenty of "deer" things. Kitchen had everything we needed and was spacious for large cooking events. A great front and side porch. The grill was easily accessible and CLEAN.

MY only suggestion was for tv. It was great having so many written instructions about things, including the TV. Unfortunately the picture of the remote and instructions did match the actual remote. So it made it challenging and some parts not successful, but a minor issue all in all.

Our stay was in the Bunkhouse. It was very cozy and charming. The bedding was very comfortable for a good nights sleep. The decor matched the name and ran throughout the cabin. We had wonderful weather for our stay and took advantage of the screen door. There is cover on both the front and back if weather is an issue. Built in gates on the rear were ideal for enclosing our small dog to enjoy fresh air. The collection of cabins and outdoor space are ideal for multi-family/friends gatherings. Pre-arrival details were spot on. Owners accessible if needed. Look forward to another chance to stay...
